Barrio
“Lisbon is also known for its very lively and busy nightlife. After an afternoon shopping in the elegant Chiado district, there’s nothing like a late afternoon at one of the viewpoints of Santa Catarina or São Pedro de Alcântara, then staying for dinner in the Bairro Alto. It’s the place to be for those who enjoy a night out having fun.”

“It looks like an antiques shop and could very well be a museum, but it's a bar that opens late in the afternoon. You must ring a bell to get inside, and once you do you find one of the city's most authentic spots. There's a total of five rooms decorated with curious objects (miniature trains, toy soldiers, old mugs, etc. from the owner's private collection), to admire as you sip a cocktail. There's an extensive list of drinks, from cocktails to juices, to teas and Port Wine. You may also play pool in one of the rooms.”

“You must try octopus fillets with açorda! Very nice tuna steak à Algarvia (south typical flavours with a lot of coriander and garlic). Also great meat, steaks... Ask if they have "cadelinhas" special little shells! ”

“One of the best rooftops in the city, at least for me. Used to be the last level of a parking lot. Gets veeery full, but really worth a visit. The view is just speechless, if you go in the late afternoon and manage to catch the sunset is the best. Later at night they have a DJ playing old school music and you can check online the kind of music that is playing each night. Closed on Sundays. If you like strawberry mojito, trust me, try it here cause its simply the best!!”
