Point of Interest
“Turner Beach This beach is just past the bridge to Captiva. Parking is limited (fee is $5/hour), so arrive early. This is a great place for sunsets and romantics. This area has great fishing from the beach and the rock jetty. Swimmers should stay away from the bridge area. The water gets deep quickly and there can be a strong undertow. So stay away from the strong currents and move farther down the beach. The sand quality is good. There are bars and restaurants just back across the bridge. Hours Dawn to dusk, seven days a week. Address 17200 Captiva Dr. Sanibel, FL 33957 ”
