“Skyline sky rides is a great place for the whole family, young and young at heart. Enjoy the ride in the Gondola up and see the wonderful views of Rotorua. There is a great café and restaurant that caters for lunch and dinner. The luge is a downhill experience you don't want to miss out on. For speed junkies or scenic rides. For the even more adventurous there is a sky swing and ziplining through tree tops. If you like Mt biking you can even hire bikes in the summer and ride down the slopes of Mt Ngongotaha ”

“Capers Epicurean is one of Rotorua’s most popular cafes. It’s been wowing its patrons with great food and coffee for over a decade and even won the Best Regional Cafe category at the 2017 New Zealand Cafe of the Year Award. Part of Capers’ appeal is that it’s open until 9 p.m. — making it an ideal pit-stop for the famished night owls who are yearning for a late caffeine fix.”

“Experience New Zealand's most visited archaeological site where stories of the 1886 Mt Tarawera Eruption come to life! Violent and unexpected, the volcanic eruption was one of New Zealand's greatest natural disasters, burying the peaceful village of Te Wairoa, and ending more than 150 lives. Today at the Buried Village encounter the world class Museum of Te Wairoa, explore the Archaeological Site which once housed the people of Te Wairoa, experience the unique insights of stories from our tour guides, and take the Waterfall Trail which showcases the stunning Wairere Falls.”

“While the menu isn't huge, it is still quite difficult to choose among the tantalizing options but to make things even harder, they were also offering several nightly specials with even more great dishes. A must try is their mixed Italian salad that - every bite bursting with the fresh taste of vegetables with a wonderful light dressing - chock full of artichokes, onion, fresh and sun-dried tomatoes and more fresh local organic vegetables.”

“Geothermal walk, if you're not a keen walker this is not for you, but a bus is available to take you back if you don't want to walk back up to the top of the hill. Boat cruise on the lake.”
