Lake
“This is the second largest lake in the Lazio region and it has plenty of 'beaches' around the water's edge so you can relax and enjoy swimming in the vast lake, which supplies water to the Rome region. There are also lots of nice place to eat and a host of water sports on offer too. You can choose a private beach where you pay for a sunbed and parasol or a public beach where you take you can simply chill out on your beach towel. The lake is about a 45 minute drive from the property. ”

“Designed by controversial architect Zaha Hadid, the MAXXI is an unconventional space both inside and out. This striking building is composed of giant intersecting concrete segments that seem severe from the outside, but inside create flowing pathways that gently transport the visitor through this modern, open-plan space. The MAXXI hosts thought-provoking and colorful exhibitions from the modern art world.”

“I must say one day is very insufficient to see all the items displayed in different museums and collected from various places over centuries. You will be overwhelmed to see the marvel of Michelangelo on the ceiling and alter of the Sistine Chapel situated within Vertican. The Creation of Adam and Last judgement -- iconic frescoes will make you speechless. You are not allowed to take photographs within Sistine Chapel. In any case, you will have plenty of opportunities to take photos. You will see St. Peter's Basilica regarded as one of the holiest Catholic shrines. It is the most prominent building in the Vatican City. Its dome is a dominant feature of the skyline of Rome. Probably the largest church in Christendom. There is tremendous rush of people to visit Vertican during this time of the year. We advise you to get skip the line ticket (though it is very expensive), otherwise it may take 2-3 hours to enter only. Keep in mind that you have to walk for 3-4 hours only to see major attractions only. Please enquire whether admission to Raphael Museum is included in the ticket or not.”
