“In the 10th century, 70 years after the establishment of Prague Castle, a church and fortified trading post were built on a cliff top overlooking the Vltava River, on the heights of Vysehrad. Although not much remains of the castle today, Vysehrad Park none-the-less makes a pleasant excursion out of the hustle and bustle of Prague's city centre. ”

“The park is relaxed and has a path that winds through it. There are many trees and shady areas to sit under and there are typically a few runners and dog walkers. In the park there is a cafe, a pavilion near the villa and a historical vineyard gazebo, all perfect places to get a coffee or a glass of wine. ”

“National Theatre in Prague is a stunning neo-Renaissance building dating from 1868-83. It is instantly recognisable from the river, its golden roof gleaming in the sunshine on fine weather days. The theatre is set on the Old Town / New Town bank of the Vltava River, one bridge along from Charles Bridge. For Czech people, the National Theatre is one of the most important cultural institutions in Prague - since inception, a symbol of the Czech National Revival. ”

“Riegrovy sady is a pleasant park stretching between the Italská, Chopinova, Polská, and Vozová streets on the northern edge of Vinohrady, at the border with Žižkov. It is close to walk to from Vinohradská and Slavíkova streets and from the Jiřího z Poděbrad Square. The park is named after 19th-century Czech politician František Ladislav Rieger whose statue is the work of Josef Václav Myslbek from 1913. Riegrovy sady was established in 1904 - 1908 as an English-style public garden and included a popular observation terrace, which has since deteriorated and is not in use. You can take a stroll, give your dog a good run or have a pint of fresh Gambrinus beer in the large and very popular "pub””
