“ "In 1875, the headland was chosen as the lighthouse site because it provided the best views of the extensive waters of the Port. “This is a pet-friendly beach, it has a kids playground at both ends of the beach with, bbq areas, tables, toilets, along with a lush serene bushwalking track that goes from one end to the other. Along the walk it has another toilet block half way and an open park and area to have a picnic. This beach has plenty of areas to stop and relax. ”

“If you are staying with us for a while and want to do a day trip Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay in Port Stephens are so beautiful. So many things to do here both water sports and land activities. I have a breakdown of what is available in your room. Well worth the drive or bus trip. Make sure you do Mount Tomaree in Shoal Bay. 1/2 of steep mountain incline but well worth it for the view. Go on work up a sweat!!”
