“All you can eat fresh fish (blackened, fried, baked, grilled, garlic) or all you can eat shrimp (the same ways)...inexpensive! Simple menu, good food. A very local place. If you dont speak spanish and the waitress doesn't speak English, just point to the menu....then go around back to the bakery after and grab some empanadas (HUGE for 75 cents - I like the pineapple!) or other pastries. The fancy pastries cost more..about $1.00 - $1.50..no joke, well worth it!”

“This is my dad's favorite place to get breakfast tacos. I always order the potato, egg and cheese and it is delicious added with their salsa. If you order coffee you might want to bring your own sweetener as they only have regular sugar and Sweet'n Low. ”

“We love this place to get good and reasonably priced pasta - but they also feature seafood. We usually carry-out after a long day at the beach, but I see it has been revamped and has an outdoor patio overlooking the lighthouse - might have to eat there next time. ”

“Keep in mind there is only one grocery store on the island, so it's a pricier if you want to stock up on a week's worth of groceries. I recommend stopping here or at the Walmart in Port Isabel on your way in.”

Point of Interest
“Dolphin Research & Sealife Nature Center (956)299~1957 open from 10am~3pm and located between the lighthouse and Pirates Landing. This is a small, educational rescue center with touch tanks and aquariums… THERE ARE NO CAPTIVE DOLPHINS. This is the home of our local Dolphin Whisperer, Scarlet Colley. If you plan on taking a dolphin watch tour, I strongly suggest to opt for a dolphin experience with Scarlet and her dog. She truly has a special bond with our local dolphin tribe, and takes you on a small pontoon boat to personally meet them! The cost for this magical hour long experience is $25/person and only has room for 6 people!”
