“If you are a gambler, this is a great stop. I have enjoyed the expansive buffet and have gambled a little. But many of my friends stop here before and after the Steelers games and have a great time!”

“8-minute drive. Lawrenceville. 19th century church converted into a microbrewery and restaurant, perhaps the first such venture in this area. Beer brewed on the former altar. Big place, varied menu, a fun place for a special occasion. Nice courtyard.”

“Primanti’s in the Strip District is the original location serving food to the locals 24/7. It’s my go to for a late night meal. Every sandwich at Primanti’s comes with meat, cheese, coleslaw, tomato, and fries on top. The best seller is beer but the #2 sammich is the Pittsburgher. Also their black bean sammich is my favorite for the veggie people. ”

“Hands down best brunch in Pittsburgh! However, requires reservation unless you show up when they open ( prior to 11:30 AM) where you might be able to sit at the bar! Great Bloody Mary Bar. ”

“Default, most frequented bar for whatever mood or outfit your wearing. You ABSOLUTELY MUST take a #brilloselfie in the mirror of the bright pink unisex bathroom near the kitchen entrance. People pile in 10 at a time, don't think twice about it. It's tradition. ”

“Funky, fresh take on Mexican food. Big, cool space. Always a scene. Lots of beers on tap with the specialty being Big Azz margaritas which are 22 oz. (in a lot of different flavors, but never made with a cheap mix.) If you're out late, they're on sale after 10 pm. Huge burritos, good wings (try San Francisco.)”

“This place is located right up on Shiloh Avenue, next to Grandview Ave (where the lookout is). The staff is great, the atmosphere is the best on Mount Washington, low-lit and cozy yet fun because they have an entire corner filled with board games, great music, and their cocktails are incredible. I highly recommend the Old-Fashioned, they use fresh muddled orange and those new fancy purple cherries, the big round ice cubes, I mean come on!”
