Sendero
“Camelback Mountain is one of the best hikes in Scottsdale. Just take a 10 min uber to the trailhead (or as close as you can) because the street parking is a nightmare. Two different trails offer two different, but difficult experiences. Bring more water than you think and wear sunscreen! There is no shade, at all. It’s tough but once you get to the top, the views are INCREDIBLE! ”

“Truly a wonderful way to better understand the Sonoran Desert, close to Sky Harbor Airport so a great place to walk off the effects of sitting in a plane for a few hours or a great last stop before catching an afternoon plane. It opens at 8 AM. They also have Gertrudes, a well recognized restaurant and through out the year special weekend and night events. Through May 12th they have a nightly Electric Desert event which looks amazing.”

Basketball Stadium
“Home of the Phoenix Suns, Talking Stick Resort Arena is about a 5-10 minute drive from the Guesthouse. Basketball season runs from November - May. Consider yourself lucky if your favorite team is playing the Suns here, as ticket prices have been very low as the Suns have been pretty terrible as of late. We host the Lakers and Warriors multiple times per year, so you might have a chance to go see Lebron James or Steph Curry during your trip!”
