“The biggest farmers market in Canada - this market runs on Saturdays down in Penticton, a 30-40 minute drive along the lake will get you there. This market is divided into two sections, one being a traditional farmers market (make it, bake it or grow it) and the other end has more shopping pleasures. ”

Route
“Access this walking and biking trail at the foot of Vancouver Pl, a left hand turn at the Pedestrian controlled crosswalk just up Vancouver Hill from the Bench Market. This wide, groomed trail offers stunning views of okanagan lake, Summerland, Penticton and the Naramata Wine country. Forned from the former KVR rail line, it is at a gentle grade and offers comfortable walking and biking all the way to and through Naramata. Take your camera and lots of water. For the more enthusiastic cyclists, you can follow this trail all the way to the historic tunnel with stunning views encompassing the whole valley: skaha Lake to Peachland. The trail carries on clear through to Kelowna. ”
