“A Japanese fusion Izakaya that has become very popular in Makati. Even those who do not live or work in Makati would go all the way to Guijo Street just to sample 12/10's delectable appetizers and flavorful main courses. Candle-lit ambiance and a cozy atmosphere. May get fully booked quickly in the weekends. Expect to spend around P2000 per person if you want to eat well and drink well at this place. ”

“Authentic Japanese eating place specializing in crispy tonkatsu with heaps of shredded cabbage on the side. They also serve genuine ramen and other Japanese favorites. It's a hole-in-the-wall type of place but the Japanese owner makes sure it's clean and cozy. A bit pricey compared to most of the restaurants in this list, but not as expensive as 12/10 Izakaya.”

“All-day breakfast, panini and pasta dishes under P140. It's an old bungalow-type home converted to a humble coffee shop. Despite the "run-down look" of the cafe, it has become a favorite evening hang-out of young people in the neighborhood. You may not find a vacant table during the late evenings when it gets busy but never gets noisy. They close at midnight and on Sundays. ”
