“The Provincial Capitol Lagoon is one of Bacolod's landmark. Locals love to come here to unwind and do nothing. It's a great place to go if you have a few hours to kill, and not sure where to go. Best time to visit i early morning or late afternoon. ”

Resort
“This is one of my favourite island resorts in Cebu. The resort can be expensive if you stay overnight but you can always book a day tour if you are on a budget. Sumilon island is located in the southern part of Cebu. This island is known for its marine sanctuaries.”

Surf Spot
“Oslob is a great place to visit when you want to have an encounter with this gentle giant. Whale watching is very safe, there are local government officials conducting briefing on do's and don't's before swimming with the whale shark. I advise you to go early because the whale shark can only be seen between 8 AM to 10 AM. You can either go a day before or leave 4 AM. Estimated travel time from lapu-lapu to Oslob is around 4 hours. Rate is Php 600 pesos for locals while Php 1,500 for foreigners for 40 minutes snorkeling. You can also rent an underwater camera with photographer for Php 500. I suggest you rent the camera because the photographers can go deeper and get you a good angle with the whale shark. ”

“Dubbed as the Boracay of Negros, the place offers much of everything you want from a beach resort. Activities on offer includes snorkeling, banana boat riding, kayaking and kite surfing. There's a floating restaurant, but you can also bring your own food and there are designated areas for beach barbecue. There's also a beach volleyball court and beach football area.”
