Palace
“What is it? The royal residence at the top of Karl Johans gate, home to HM King Harald V and HM Queen Sonja. The Royal Palace Park surrounds the palace on all sides and features grassy areas, majestic trees, small ponds and statues. Why go? Although the palace is open to the public only during 22 June until 25 August and all visitors must follow a guided tour, the impressive building at the end of Karl Johans street is worth a look. The grounds and gardens are free for visitors to wander around and for the regular changing of the guard every day at 1.30 pm.”

Indie boutiques sell design items and vintage fashions, while weekend markets on neighborhood squares draw crowds for artisan eats, kitchenware, jewelry and bric-a-brac. A popular summer boat bar is moored nearby, and ferries depart year-round for the scenic Oslo Fjord. Parque
“Large garden at Tøyen with ample botanical variety and diversity. Most of the area is designed as an Arboretum, with approximately 1800 different plants. The garden holds a large and varied collection of trees and shrubs planted in a systematic fashion after plant family. The Scent Garden is arranged as an experience for all, but especially the blind, mentally handicapped and wheelchair-bound. You will also find large, woven sculptures by the British artist Tom Hare around in the park. The greenhouses The Palm House from 1868 and The Victoria House from 1876 present exotic plants from other parts of the world. The greenhouses are open daily 10 am–8 pm between 15 March and 30 September, and 10 am–4 pm the rest of the year. Norwegian name: Botanisk hage”

Opera House
“The Famous Opera House, another wonderful must-see tourist attraction in Oslo. Located downtown, it's only a short walk away. Built almost entirely by massive Italian white marble, it's beautiful on both inside and outside. The building's design allows people to walk straight up on the roof, which I can highly recommend for a fantastic view of the downtown city and of the Oslo Fjord stretching all the way to the horizon :) A lovely place for a memorable photo ! ”
