“Take a step back in time to visit this world famous open air museum, telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s & 1940s. Ride on a tram, see how cinder toffee is made, talk to the animals on the working farm, play hopscotch in the old schoolyard, pop into the Sun Inn for a pint after trip to the colliery.....There's plenty to keep visitors of all ages occupied for a full day and it's only a 15 minute drive away.”

Centro comercial
“Avoid the city centre and the nightmare of parking to do your shopping! The Gateshead Metro Centre is a lovely large mall with all the main chain stores like M&S, Next, Debenhams, Primark, TKMaxx and Boots, in addition to numerous boutiques and dozens of restaurants. There is also a massive ten screen cinema attached. There's a kiddy train that drives around the mall and comfortable seating spread throughout to take a little break from shopping. Outside of the mall is a retail park with a 24 hour Asda, Ikea and other big stores.”
