“It's worth the trek up. Pictures don't do it justice so make to go and see the real thing if you are in Arizona. I recommend staying over in Flagstaff for the evening and popping over to Grand Canyon early in the am.”

“Your best option for a quick hike into the Grand Canyon from the South Rim. We're both somewhat experienced hikers, and on a fine late April weekend it took us 2 hours or so to hike the 3 miles round trip to Cedar Ridge and back, the perfect vantage point for experiencing the Canyon up close. Can't wait for next time, with more time, when for sure we'll descend further into the Canyon on South Kaibab Trail.”

“We definitely recommend the Grand Canyon if you've never been! Specifically, the Shoshone Point hike. It's about 2 miles out and back, and not on the Grand Canyon tourist maps, so you have to use Google maps to get there. It is way less touristy than the popular trails with breathtaking views. It's not unheard of to be the only ones on the trail!”
