“Sitting on the western edge of the Nicoya Peninsula, Santa Teresa is a tiny beach village that draws in a lot of surfers , yoga enthusiasts and beach bodies. In the last several years, this laid-back town has blossomed into a booming travel destination because of its natural beautiful beaches and wonderful people that live here. Despite its size, Santa Teresa has been hailed as world-class surfing spot in Costa Rica - with gorgeous white sandy beaches and swells that put a smile on surfers' faces year-round. Besides surfing, Santa Teresa packs a variety of things to do. Many visitors enjoy horseback riding, ATVs, hiking, waterfall and canopy tours. This village couldn't be better for spending some R and R with the family on its cozy beaches.”

“For eco-tourists and animal lovers the Curu Wildlife Reserve is one of the highlights of the Nicoya Peninsula. In a tropical paradise environment visitors can see many of Costa Rica's animals in the wild. Curu is privately owned and part of a large farm which combines sustainable agriculture and forest management with the protection of wildlife and nature. The Curu river is a magnet for many animals Of the 1,496 hectare property only 5 % (84 hectares) are protected under the terms of a "wildlife reserve". This zone encompasses the 200 meter wide beach area, together with the mangrove estuaries and rivers. ”
