Tree Top apartment accommodates two people, and is situated on the first floor of a small apartment block. It is located in a small, private woodland and is just across the road from the Share Holiday Village
Tree Top first floor apartment sleeps 2 people. Tree Top has an open-plan kitchen dinning living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for use and has a fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven and washer dryer. The living area has a TV, DVD player, a small wood burning stove and wireless internet. There is one en -suite double bedroom with built in wardrobe and a sofa bed which can be used either in the bedroom or moved into the living area if you prefer to use it there. All bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment has direct access to the lakeshore and we offer canoe and fishing boat hire. From April to September the apartment comes with two complementary sit on top kayaks, paddles and life jackets. There is also a wireless internet connection. The apartment is self contained with another private apartment on the ground floor. It has a small patio area with outdoor seats and a bbq. There is a private drive and area to park a vehicle at the cottages.
Use Tree Top as a base to enjoy the region’s many attractions or just unwind in the beautiful lakeside location, which is internationally recognised as an area of special scientific interest with its protected populations of otters and swans. We often see deer swimming in the lake in autumn and spring. With direct access to the lake by canoe or boat (available on site for hire or bring your own and leave it on our jetty during your visit), you can stop off for a picnic lunch on one of the many islands. Visit Gad Island with its look out tower, Crom Castle with the largest Yew Tree in Ireland or Inish Rath, an island with the original Land Steward’s house for the Crom Estate. Fish from the jetty or enjoy the papers from the patio area of your apartment. Bring the bikes and explore some of the Kingfisher Cycle trail which runs past the entrance gates to the cottages, or cycle off road in Crom, Florencecourt, Castle Archdale or Blessingbourne.
  • Jus back from an amazing 2 nights break here! The accommodation was faultless and provided everything we needed! The wood burning stove made it so homely! We loved the peace and quiet and the surrounding area. A lovely girl (forget her name sorry) welcomed us on the night of arrival and could not of been more helpful...even told us about places to visit (Website hidden by Airbnb) we went to Crom Castle!! We definitely will be returning!!

  • The host canceled this reservation 12 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • Really beautiful setting with the opportunity to use the kayaks on the lake within the grounds. Lots to explore in the area and we could have stayed for longer! Ask the owner for recommendations and you will be given plenty of options. We can recommend The Happiness Trap in Enniskillen for great vegan and gluten free options.

  • We had no problems finding Robyn's place after receiving her directions and soon after arriving she called in to make sure everything was ok for us, which it was. She gave us some helpful information on walks in the area which ensured we had a great stay and got the most out of our trip. Thanks Robyn, it was a pleasure to discover the beautiful Fermanagh lakelands.

    Steve2017-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • A gorgeous clean, cosy and comfortable apartment set in a stunning secure mature garden great for kids and dogs to play on the shores of Lough Erne. Milo my border collie enjoyed the huge lawn to chase ball. Very peaceful among the trees. Thanks to Robyn's mum for the advice on dog friendly walks to nearby Crom Estate and the Share centre. I'd love to visit again.

  • Excellent sejour dans un lieu paisible et enchanteur.

    Alain2014-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • This accommodation is very nicely fitted out and comfortable. Located within 30mins drive to Enniskillen and great National Trust properties, Florence Court and Coole Castle. Worth driving to Enniskillen if you would like to eat out for evening meals as nothing much is available locally. Franco's Restaurant at 33 Queen Elizabeth St is very nice.

If you are looking for a country retreat full of character and charm Tattymorris Cottage is it! Having built the cottage and spent many happy years here, myself and my wife have decided to see some more of the world and would love to have guests enjoy our retreat as much as we do.
  • What a lovely cottage, in a peaceful location. Perfect as a base for exploring the area, and relaxing in front of the fire. Comfortable bed, good shower, and parking space for a few cars. Stephen is a friendly and welcoming host who gave a quick tour and left me to settle in. Will definitely check out if looking the area again.

    Tony2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • Stephen was brilliant from start to finish. We loved the cottage and the whole stay was lovely :) would recommend to anyone who is travelling to this area of Ireland.

    Graham2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Stephen and Michelle’s beautiful home. It was the perfect getaway, the coziest of homes, and a great place to really relax while still having access to the beautiful sights of Northern Ireland! Michelle and Stephen are incredible hosts. Don’t miss the chance to stay here!

    Kathleen2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great rural location perfect for a quiet break! Phone brought us straight to front door, stephen was very welcoming and hospitable. Cottage has everything you need and the gardens perfect to relax in.

  • Stephen and his wife are beautiful people with such warmth. We had an incredible stay in their beautiful home, it has character with magical touches. They went out of their way to make our stay extra special with too many to mention. Don't miss an opportunity to stay in their home. They have certainly raised the Airbnb standard for us!!

    Stevie2018-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Stephen is the best host you could ever ask for, and his house that he built is beyond perfect. It is exactly how it is pictured and is the most quaint cottage in all of Ireland; and I drove through every county when I was there. You won’t find one like this anywhere else. Driving down the roads to get to his home you might run into a tractor or two, but they are kind and if you move out of the way they’ll wave hello. I’ve never felt more peaceful than at Stephen’s cottage. He welcomed me with a cup of tea, fresh fruit, and mints on the table. It was perfect after a long journey. I can’t say enough about how much I recommend this cottage. County Fermanagh is how my favorite county in Ireland because of it.

    Michele2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Idyllic country cottage full of charming pieces. Stephen kindly accepted a last minute booking and even went to set up the fire so we only needed to put a match to it on arrival. Stephen was prompt with all communication. The cottage was warm with central heating preset. Load of comfortable beds with a double in one room and master bedroom hosting two double and a single bed. Perfect for a family. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. About a 3 minute drive from Clones and is rural in its surrounding. Highly recommend this little gem of a cottage.

Greenbank is a tranquil place with purpose created meditation facilities, a large willow labyrinth, an ancient well in a secluded grove with seating, 5 acres of landscaped grounds, walkways and a walled garden with a proliferation of flowers and herbs. It is within easy walking distance of Clones town centre and an early High Cross, ruins of an ancient Abbey, an impressive round tower and the sarcophagus of St Tiernach. Ideally located to explore the counties of Monaghan, Cavan and Fermanagh.
Large country home with extensive peaceful grounds for rest and relaxation. There are a number of lesser known ancient Celtic sites within a short drive and a number of parks, lakes, rivers, forests. We are very willing to host and transport guests for a few days who would like to explore these sites, such as the historic island of Devenish, the 'navel' of Ireland at Uisneach near Mullingar and the ancient site near Armagh: Emain Macha. Outdoor nearby amenities include some Ireland's best coarse fishing, shooting, excellent 18 hole golf course, orienteering and a state of the art leisure centre with running track, gym and playing fields.
Clones borders three counties, Monaghan, Cavan and Fermanagh. Northern Ireland surrounds Clones on 3 sides. The N54 passes the house (at the end of a tree-lined drive) and provides good access to all parts of Ireland. Dublin and Belfast are less than 2 hours drive away by M1 or M3 motorways. More scenic National routes (e.g. A3/N2) will take a little longer but much more rewarding scenically! Dublin and Belfast airports are approx a 90 minute drive from Clones.
  • Anthony is a very nice host who cares a lot about his guests. Especially the breakfast was very personally and delicious. Glad to have booked this chamber. Thanks for everything.

  • Fantastic hosts, rooms were really spacious and clean, everything as described, great breakfast included, highly recommended.

    Shane2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Anthony's house was great and surrounded by great landscape of which I had a great walk around it is like a park. I was greeted with tea and biscuits, given local information. The breakfast at a time of my choice was very big, a bowl of chopped fruits, details and a big a fry. On my next visit to Monaghan I will book again.

    Mr2018-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Tony, for the fantastic hospitality. Coffee and biscuits on arrival, and great conversation. We talked for ages about the history of the house and grounds and the town and surrounding area. The house was immaculate and the grounds including a meditation room and willow labyrinth were very impressive. We had a lovely walk around the local town and Tony pointed me in the right directions to some great bars and restaurants. A great night sleep and a great choice of breakfast topped off my stay. I recommend the host and venue to anyone visiting the area. 5 Stars in my book. Thanks again Tony and all the best in the future. Adam

  • Great location on the doorstep of the Crom Estate which is fabulous. House and grounds are very dog friendly. Ensuites to each bedroom are great for groups of couples or older family groups.

    Adrienne2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • The photos do not do this property justice, we had the most amazing time, the house is huge and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The patio area and garden are huge, with a BBQ and 2 wood burners for the cooler evenings. There's lots of activity in the Lough and direct access to a jetty at the end of the garden which provided endless hours of fun for the kids to jump in. We never left the house only to explore a meadow nearby, we played football, rounders cricket and swam in the Lough 2-3 times daily. A most relaxing break and although we never got to meet Michael all queries were answered promptly.

    Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Reino Unido

This beautiful holiday home, just 15 minutes from Enniskillen is situated 1 mile from Upper Lough Erne and 1.5 miles from Derrylin village. The property is close to all of the wonderful attractions that Fermanagh has to offer including, Cuilcagh mountain, Marble Arch caves, 3 Castles, Lough Erne Golf Resort etc.. The house is situated on our farm, with stunning country views all around. You can also enjoy the cows and sheep. The house is very cosy, modern and welcoming, a real home from home.
The barn has an old, unusual exterior, but has a substantial, modern, welcoming interior. It has a kitchen, living room/dining area, 2 good sized bed rooms and 2 shower rooms. The living room has a wood burning stove and sticks can be provided from our farm. The barn has a very cosy, welcoming feel - a real home from home!!
You will have a view of neighbouring houses but all a very comfortable distance away so guest privacy is at maximum. The barn is less than 1 mile from the main Dublin to Enniskillen road so it is very accessible and easy to find. The barn is very unique, peaceful and quirky, giving guests a real opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, yet you are only a very short distance from everything that Fermanagh Tourism has to offer you (all within approximately 13 miles).
  • Really enjoyed our stay in the barn! So much to do fairly close by and our son loved riding his bike down the hill every evening while we enjoyed having a bbq outside and watching the animals graze.

    Sarah2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely week in Claire’s little house! We went out in the morning, came home, closed the door put a fire on and got cosy for the evening!! It was that cosy we didn’t want to leave! All towels and bed linen were supplied(there is also a washing machine), we did not want for anything. We would love to return!!

    Lenore2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage is such a gem. Recently refurbished making it cosy and comfortable with everything you could possibly want for an easy stay. The area is so quiet with only an occasional cow to keep your company. There is a TV with Netflix, two bathrooms and a woodburing Stove for a winters night. Claire is an excellent host and responds very quickly to messages which is excellent.

    Richard2018-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Claire was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Based in the middle of a working farm, this modern house is secluded and quiet, but within minutes of everything you might want or need! When you walk out in the morning you are met with a scenic view and close by are wonderful cows and sheep in the fields. For those with a sensitive nose, have no fear, this place does not have the scent that you smell when going past cow pastures on the road. Just fresh air and the feeling like you are finally free from the busy world, but you can be back in that busy world in a short drive if you desire. Incredibly close to anything you want to see in that area. All in all, we loved our time there and are already talking about when we will be back!!

    Paul2018-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptionally clean, a warm welcome

    Glenn2018-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent and quiet location and great communication. Nothing was too hard for Claire to help out. Thanks Clare

    Margy2018-10-05T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t recommend this barn enough, absolutely gorgeous inside! In a nice quiet area out in the countryside beautiful surroundings! It’s a matter of a 10 minute drive to central enniskillen. Claire the host couldn’t have done enough for us, was an ease to communicate with. Could have stayed another week didn’t want to come home! Will definitely be back!

Thatched gamekeepers cottage is traditional but fully modernised cottage. Originally part of Lord Erne's estate, with underfloor heating, Wi-Fi, TV, Dvd player, with wide range of Dvds to watch, CD/radio player and cds to listen to, dishwasher and is ideal for romantic leisurely breaks near upper lough Erne fab walks near Crom and Florencecourt Estate, Cuilcagh Mountain Walk is 20 minutes away, quiet scenic rural area but yet near by for shops etc. 5 star quality. Rural setting car necessary.
The cottage is made up of 2 double bedrooms a bathroom a living room with 2 sofas and 1 chair and a fully fitted modern kitchen. Originally the cottage was built in the 1830's but is now fully renovated in 21st century standard. Our photos are good but the property is as good if not better!
Sophie's is half way between Cavan and Enniskillen town. It is part of the original Crom Estate. On a quiet country road in a farming district. Shops area as near as 1 mile but for bigger shops 3 miles. You can walk or drive to the jetty at Derryvore and you will be able to enjoy Trial bay and views of the old Crom Castle or go on to Holy Trinity Church which is the church for Lord Erne's estate at Crom. Sunday services here at 12 noon. The popular Cuilcagh Mountain Walk is about 20 minutes by car from cottage and is very popular with our visitors. We are less than 1hr 30 from Dublin so ideal for a getaway from city life. Just a very short distance from the Cavan/Fermanagh border it can be accessed very easily.
  • My wife and I were greeted by Ian who was most helpful and very friendly. It was Elaine who had initially been in contact via email and text message, and we were able to text Elaine to say when we'd be arriving. Ian made us feel really welcome and he explained the history of the house and he showed us around explaining everything in full. Sophie's Cottage lives up to its online advertising perfectly. The first thing we noticed was how spotlessly clean and tidy everything was and the warmth from the cottage was a big plus. It was everything we had hoped for with its authentic, quaint, immediately attractive exterior and interior. We had our young girls with us and they loved it! Sophie's Cottage is set in a fairly remote and beautiful part of Co. Fermanagh and on first sight, it transports you right back to a bygone era. The two airy bedrooms were ideal for us whilst the kitchen had all the devices and tools needed for a chef! The bathroom has an old style bath with a shower attachment and an abundance of hot water. A wood burning stove adds a touch of cosiness to the relaxing lounge area. What really is a fantastic addition is the under floor heating throughout the whole cottage. This ensures a constant stream of heat and this would be particularly useful in the winter months. There is the all important driveway (with gates) around the back of the cottage with enough room for 2 to 3 cars. We had such a relaxing stay here and we would recommend this cottage to anyone. In short, a wee gem! Thanks Ian and Elaine. Regards, Robin.

    Robin2016-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in Sophie's Cottage was lovely. Cosy, warm and comfortable. About a half hour drive from Enniskillen town or the Marble Arch Caves or nearby mountains. All basics were provided, including towels and eggs! Great base to live in.

    Andrew2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful little cottage and the perfect base for exploring Fermanagh. Elaine and Ian were very welcoming and provided prompt answers to any questions we had.

    Lauren2018-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the story behind this house just as much as we loved this house!! What a beautiful, cosy and peaceful place to stay. Super clean too. It's situated approx 15-30 minutes from all the well known local attractions that Fermanagh and Cavan has to offer and is within driving distance of the 2 near by villages. Super friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend this house to stay in if looking to explore the countryside and have a relaxing peaceful weekend. Thanks Ian and Elaine for having us.

    Anita2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay in Sophie's Cottage, it is well situated close enough to Enniskillen & National Trust properties, but far enough out in the countryside for a peaceful relaxed weekend. Would happily recommend to other visitors who want to explore this beautiful part of Fermanagh.

    Katherine2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely stunning. Great place, great location, just perfect. Ian and Elaine have clearly spent a lot of time, effort, and money on this place. It’s absolutely stunning. There was a very personal touch with Ian’s “Meet & Greet”. My English other half loved it. Top marks. Will definitely stay again.

    Ross2018-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Surpassed our expectations when we first glanced it driving down the quiet country road in Fermanagh. A beautiful cottage both outside and in. The gardens were very well manicured and the flowers were in bloom which just made the whole place the definition of rural romance! Ian was very helpful and efficient checking us in. Would definitely recommend for a weekend getaway!

Fabulous three bed family holiday home in gated community overlooking the River Erne/Lough Dooley. The location of our house make it an ideal place to explore the Hidden Heartlands of Ireland. Great for couples/families/friends looking for a relaxing break in a tranquil setting. Prime place to stay if you are attending a wedding at the Slieve Russell Hotel or an event at the Cavan Equestrian Centre.
Our house is a modern three bed Scandinavian style property in a gated community close to Belturbet town. It has direct access to Lough Dooley (on the River Erne). There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom, two single beds in the second upstairs bedroom and a childrens bunkbed in the downstairs bedroom. The house sleeps a family of 6 or 4 adults and two children comfortably. We have recently refurbished the house so you will find it in good clean and well maintained condition. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and a separate tumble dryer. The main room has a wall of glass that faces eastwards over the Lough. You can watch the sun rise in the morning, and the evening sun makes the other side of the river glow. Ireland gets up to 18 hours of sunlight in the height of summer. Our house has a private deck that opens on to a communal lawn. As parents of three young children we enjoy spending quality family time here. A great escape from city life. Our children enjoy playing games, reading, swimming in the river and playing with children in neighbouring houses. They spend time outdoors being inquisitive about nature.
Riverrun is a haven of sights and sounds. You can hire a boat and cruise up the river to Crom Castle and take in the sight of kingfishers as they glide past. You can take the kids fishing or go for a swim in the surprisingly warm water. Our house is within close proximity of some cultural hotspots such as Florence Court and the Marble Arch Caves. There are plenty of great restaurants and pubs nearby such as the Seven Horseshoes in Belturbet and the Derragarra Inn at Butler's bridge. Both places serve delicious food at reasonable prices. You can also pick up some delicious homemade Irish food from Duffy's Gala in Belturbet. For a more special occasion you might consider; Dining at the Olde Post Inn at Cloverhill, a Mecca for food enthusiasts. Enjoying an evening of traditional Irish music at the Widow's bar in Belturbet. Booking a spa treatment at the Slieve Russell Hotel, a short drive away or at the Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort just outside Cavan town.
  • Brilliant location for peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and a spotless home. Would go back again 100%.

  • Our family of 6 stayed here for two nights last week and we have nothing but good things to say about this house. it is spotless bright, modern and extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. we did not miss the TV or wifi at all. The wall of glass upstairs and downstairs gave fabulous views of the lough. with 4 children it was great to get a house with 4 single beds rather than doubles. we had plenty of outdoor activities in Fermanagh and nearby. Would recommend this house for a family looking for relaxation or a base for outdoor activities.

18th century coachhouse with modern & clean decor set in 25 acres of our organic beef farm. Coachhouse is a separate 2 storey building with private entrance with 2 bedrooms with open plan sitting room. Local amenities include fishing, walking, golf, horse riding & water sports . The property at front is vicarage built ca. 1780 is main family home and in the rear courtyard is the coachouse. There are 3 great village pubs & supermarket within walking distance - nearby is swimming pool, cinema etc.
The coachhouse was built over 200 years ago which was the servants quarters on 1st floor with animal housing below. Building has original limestone cut stone exposed on interior living area with original stoneworks on the exterior.
Our countryside is very typical of County Monaghan with drumlin rolling hillside, green pastures and lakes and rivers every few miles. Our area is very much rural Ireland where farming and agri-farming plays a key role in the locals livelihoods. People are very friendly, helpful and always take time to speak to visitors.
  • This charming coach house is certainly a hidden gem. The extra touches were very much appreciated. Great communication with the hosts. Very clean and cozy country home. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

  • Do not hesitate to book this property, absolutely gorgeous estate with a LOT of history! We stayed on our way to Giants Causeway from the Cliffs of Moher, and LOVED it! Joan & Martin are amazing hosts!

  • A high quality, comfortable and cosy renovated coach house to suit a family or friends. Martin and Joan are very welcoming and ensure that you're well catered for. Our kids really enjoyed playing in the courtyard and having so much space. A perfect choice for relaxing in the countryside, taking time out and enjoying the nearby sites, like Rossmore Forest park and Monaghan town.

  • Joan & Martin's Coach House is a lovely and quiet space in a beautiful setting. They were so welcoming and our toddler daughter and dog had a great time playing with their children & dogs. The local tips Joan & Martin had were really helpful, there are good restaurants in the area as well as many interesting and family-friendly sights, especially if you like nature & walking. Many thanks for your hospitality!

  • Martin was a great host. He welcomed us when we arrived and gave us good recommendations for restaurants in the local area. The carriage house was clean and the pictures were accurate. This is an ideal place for families with plenty of space for children to play.

  • John and Elaine’s place is a lovely rural location for any couple or small family. John was quick to respond to communication before we arrived and there were several little touches that my girls and I really appreciated. For anyone looking to explore Fermanagh by car then this would be an ideal, spotless and VERY reasonably priced wee spot. We will be back and hope to see you all, including Lucy , very soon !

  • The property is perfect for a couple or a small family like ours. The small touches exceeded expectations, games for our Daughter, milk, butter & cereal etc. The house was immaculately clean & both John & Elaine were so nice & helpful. The location is perfect for anyone who is visiting the lake land area who does not need to be tied to a town centre. We would highly recommended the property & owners for their sincere hospitality. We look forward in returning again. The Brosnan Family, London.

Tree Top Ground Floor apartment is set in a small woodland with access to the shores of Upper Lough Erne and comfortably sleeps 4 people plus a baby in a cot.
Tree Top ground floor apartment sleeps 4 people, plus a baby in a cot. Tree Top has an open-plan kitchen dinning living area. The kitchen is fully equipped for use and has a fridge freezer, microwave, hob, oven and washer dryer. The living area has a TV, DVD player and a small wood burning stove. There is one double bedroom and one twin bedrrom which share a shower room. All bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment has direct access to the lakeshore and we offer canoe and fishing boat hire. From April to September the apartment comes with complementary sit on top kayaks, paddles and life jackets. There is also a wireless internet connection. The nearest public transport links are Lisnaskea and Derrylin, both approx 5mins away. Belfast is 1hr 20mins away and Dublin is 2hr away. A car is recommended to get the best out of the area.
  • A great apartment for exploring the local lakes and area! Very comfortable with an open plan living space, 2 bedrooms and a shower room. All very clean and in great condition. The kitchen has everything you would need - we cooked 3 dinners there very happily. There is a nice outdoor area with a picnic bench and a couple of comfy wooden chairs where we had our breakfasts in the sun. Very nice! The hosts called in to us to check that everything was OK and we're available if we needed anything - which we didn't! The hosts house is further up the driveway and looks onto a lake - very beautiful with lots of birds, dragonflies, etc. It is a bit too weedy and muddy to swim in but there are kayaks at the shore that you can use. I took one out and had great fun exploring the lake (which was very warm as it is quite shallow). Across the road from the property is a watersports centre with a swimming 'beach' area next door that was quite quiet and a great place for a refreshing swim. We spent a day walking at Florencecourt (a nearby National Trust property) and at Marble Arch. Both are spectacular and well worth a visit. Enniskillen is about 25 mins away but the local town Lisnaskea has a Lidl and several other good shops. I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

    Fergus2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment, very handy location close to town and local amenities. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable with everything provided that you might need! We hope to go back!

  • Only stayed for 3 days which wasn't long enough to explore the area and enjoy the lovely countryside. I would recommend that you don't use the postcode in your Sat Nav as it will take you through a very very scenic route over narrow roads (it is fun though). Just put Lisnaskea in Sat Nav and you will be fine. Lovely cottage and would go back.

  • A wonderful apartment in a beautiful location. If you like flatwater paddling, this is the place to go - hardly any people and lots to explore. The flat itself is well-equipped and comfortable. The owners will give plenty of advice on what to do/where to eat in the area.

    Annette2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice apartment. All amenities you would want and very clean. The apartment is very isolated which makes it very peaceful but also makes it a bit awkward if you want to go out for dinner or drinks as someone will have to drive. Otherwise perfect for a relaxing weekend.

Situated on the river Erne in a quiet and peaceful setting. Ideal for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of modern life. My home is comfortable, spacious and welcoming. Three kilometres outside Belturbet it is in an ideal location for exploring the Lakeland county. You can relax by the river fishing or take a trip upriver on a canoe. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in each room. Breakfast is extra and can be provided on request.
Bedroom one is ensuite and sleeps two. Lovely views over the river.
Belturbet is a small pretty town with a lovely marina. It has nice bars and a few restaurants. There are many nice walks nearby e.g. Killekeen forest park, Castlesaunderson forest and Ballyconnell canal walk.
  • Ha sido un gran acierto poder alojarnos en casa de Bernadette, la Casa genial, preciosa y ella .... una persona entrañable y genial!! Os lo recomiendo sin dudarlo.

  • Dream place and dream house. A real pleasure to enjoy this idyllic place and the calm surrounding. Bernadette is a devoted, playful and lively hostess. His house is sumptuous and tastefully decorated. Our room was just sublime with a splendid view of the river and meadow where horses were lounging. Bernadette immediately put us at ease and spoke to us on various subjects related to Ireland. Our conversations were very interesting and informative. Also, we were treated to gluten-free house pancakes (special request) to die for. We left Bernadette and her home with regret, not without having brought the recipe of the famous pancakes ...

  • Very enjoyable overnight stay, beautiful decking out the back looking over the river erne. The host Bernadette is very accommodating and a pleasure to talk with. We recommend a visit here, we personally plan to get back again some time soon.

  • We stayed one night at this wonderful place. Quiet, brilliant view and Bernadette is a wonderful host. If you have time, jump into the canoe and row down the river and listen to the birds. We highly recommend this place. And for a small fee you can get a very good breakfast as well.

    Bas2017-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay. Bernadette is a very warm person who even drove us to the pub, when we had lost the way. It sure is a room with a view. Beatiful sights of the river, the cows on the other side and the music of the birds. One of the nicest places we stayed. We hope to return some day!

    Wim2017-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice view on the river, 15 mns pleasant walk to the village. Delightful scenery.

    Simone2017-12-26T00:00:00Z

    Charlotte2018-08-31T00:00:00Z

This adult only accommodation is set in the middle of traditional orchards and forestry. This is a 200 year old tatched Loft (on our farm yard next to our house). Admits the rural country side of county Fermanagh. Close to 2 award winning restaurants and 10-30 min from most Fermanagh tourist attractions. Our cottage is 4 star Tourist Board rated! (Note: Pets are not welcome, sorry).
  • John was a lovely host and the house was very nicely renovated as a cosy studio getaway. Was perfect as a base for the event that we were attending that weekend nearby.

    Tim2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Don't think twice about staying at Bramley's Apple Cottage, it's cosy, clean and comfortable and made even better by the wonderful, friendly hosts John and Ingrid. They gave us lots of insider knowledge of life at Crom which we loved and passed on to family members who were camping there. Thanks to them, we knew exactly who the 'posh' gentleman was who stopped to admire our dogs as we were heading off on a walk around the estate. Staying at the cottage worked really well for us to drive to Crom each day as Newtownbutler is an easy car journey away.

    Linda2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • John and Ingrid's cottage is full of character and elegance. It has everything you need to be self sufficient in the kitchen and is very comfortable. John and Ingrid had stocked the fridge with basic necessities before we got there and we were set for morning breakfast. Fresh fruit and flowers were on the table to welcome us. Unfortunately, while we were there, the weather was not that favourable and we cancelled some of our day trips. Interestingly though, we discovered that thatch roofs and stone walls are incredible sound insulators! Even though the rain was coming down sideways, we couldn't hear a thing. It was a perfect day to sit back, relax, and watch tv (only day we did it in Ireland - there's so much to see and do!).

    Angela2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Five stars!

    Lorraine2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot. Close to Marble arch caves and cuilcagh mountain trail. Local shops nearby. John was fantastic host.

    Wilson2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • We couldn't recommend this cottage enough: perfectly equipped, clean, sophisticated and a wonderfully tranquil location. John was the ideal host: the fridge was stocked for us and he gave us a bottle of wine too, hugely generous and an example of going the extra mile for his guests. He wanted to get to know us and we felt very well looked after, always on hand to help us if needed. The area is beautiful and easy to explore by car; we would recommend Crom and Castle Coole National Trust sites close by and the Olde Post Inn restaurant for an excellent romantic meal. Unfortunately it had rained a lot prior to our visit so the boat trip at the Marble Arch caves wasn't running but we had a look down in the caves nonetheless. The cottage isn't easy to find but it's worth getting a bit lost for! 5 stars all round.

    Timothy2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • We've just spent the weekend in possibly one of the best Air BnB properties yet. From the minute we arrived we couldn't have had a warmer welcome. John met us in Newtownbutler to guide us to the cottage. It's located up a country lane, amongst apple orchards, in the most beautiful scenic setting - far from the madding crowd. The cottage itself is fabulous. Everything has been considered with maximum comfort in mind. The fridge was stocked with a chilled bottle of wine, milk and supplies for a full Irish (local produce). There was a bottle of red wine too...and cookies and crisps and fruit and bottled water and tea and coffee and sweets...! That's not all. There were fluffy bathrobes and slippers, gorgeous organic Voya toiletries, fleece hot water bottles, a carefully chosen selection of magazines and books - literally everything at your fingertips for a luxurious grown up getaway. John was the perfect host and delivered way beyond anything we expected. He booked us into a local restaurant and we were chauffeured there are back! He gave us loads of tips for things to do in the area, of which there are an abundance of. We can genuinely say that John's hospitality was a true expression of the warm Irish welcome - a wonderful personal touch to the perfect location. We'll definitely be back!

    Anita2017-07-02T00:00:00Z

  • Marion is a very good host. Everything was as described and expected at the household. Marion is a veteran host, so it was all in place. Check in was easy and she gave us some cookies too! Maggie, her dog, is the sweetest too. Just be aware that there is no WiFi in the house and phone signal is pretty dodgy. So, if you need to make bookings from there or find stuff on the internet, it would be advisable to do it before you go back to the BNB. Thanks, Marion!

    Padmaparna2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • My father and I appreciated Marion's generous hospitality. The house is located in a scenic area overlooking the river Erne. The room was clean and comfortable and we were made feel at home by Marion and Sam. We also enjoyed Marion's full Irish breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay on our trip, Marion.

  • Marion and her husband were exceptional hosts and made my stay a wonderfully warm and relaxing experience. Their home is simply beautiful, located in the most serene and elegant of environments. I didn't know such a place existed in Ireland! I wish I could have stayed longer, our breakfast chats on her terrace were so inspiring.. I feel like I've made a friend :) Thank you so much Marion, I hope our paths will cross again soon!

  • A great spot - perfect for a family break - a safe large garden, well appointed clean living accommodation without constantly being concerned the children would hurt themselves or break something. The kayaks on the Lough were good fun for us and the kids.

    Simon2017-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time, thank you. The garden was fully explored and very much enjoyed by our dog, Sandy. The house was beautiful and very well appointed. Hope to be back soon!

  • The host Robyn and her mum made us all very welcome from day 1. The process of picking up the keys from the dropbox was flawless and the house way exceeded our expectations. Having the Canadian canoes on hand was amazing and it really added to our stay to take them out on the Lough for a few hours. A perfect choice of accommodation whether for work or for a holiday

    Adrian2016-04-14T00:00:00Z

This 250 year old stone cottage is tucked away at the archway entrance to the Cloverhill Estate. The cottage is surrounded by gardens and woodland. It is a lovely quaint and rustic lodge/cottage and is full of charm. There is private parking provided both front & rear of the property.
This charming property is a step back in time. It offers tranquility and friendliness. Despite being a cottage the bedrooms are average in size. The downstairs bedroom has a toilet so this suits guests who may not wish to use the stairs. There is also a second shower room off the kitchen . The living room is very comfortable and it consists of an open log fire. Private parking is available both at the rear and front of the property. There is a garden at the front of the cottage and a beautiful wild garden at the rear of the cottage for guests to relax in. Guests are welcomed with a friendly smile and a cup of tea along with some fresh sandwiches after their journey. For guests wishing to spend a winter's week-end they will be welcomed with an open fire which will already be blazing for arrival. Ample coal & logs will be supplied free of charge to keep the fire burning during their stay. Central heating is included in the price. The cooker/oven/grill are all electric.
This property is over 250 years old and it is set in the lake district of Co Cavan. Cloverhill itself is a quiet, friendly and quaint, stone- built village. The beautiful St John's Church is a stones throw from the Lodge along with the Old Post Inn Restaurant. The Gate Lodge is popular for guests seeking a romantic get away or those seeking escape from life's stresses ..
  • A very beautiful home...felt like a home away from home. June made us feel very welcome with a welcome player of sandwiches, cookies and a fruit loaf. She has great knowledge of her area of Ireland and some of its local history...great recommendations on areas to eat. Will definitely recommend this location to anyone who asks.

  • June was such a pleasure to meet! She was eager and willing to do anything at all to help make our experience wonderful. She went above and beyond to assist us in any way she could. The Cloverhill Gate Lodge was charming and the area represented the true Irish culture in which we were seeking. We would love to return again and would recommend June's cottage to anyone visiting the County Cavan area. Great experience!

    Brandi2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • June's cottage is sweet and incredibly comfortable. She was very welcoming and very open to any additional needs, but we were set from the beginning! The setting is very relaxing and the house is spacious enough for 6 people, easily. Definitely would recommend.

  • June was an amazing hostess communicating with us from our first contact to our arrival with ease through emails We arrived to plates of sandwiches, biscuits, wine, bread, eggs, soreads etc to get us through the evening and breakfast. The Lodge was stunningly beautiful both inside and out and exactly as described. Everything was perfectly clean with beautiful linen and very comfortale beds. Unfortunately due to an injury requiring an operation and hospitalisation we could not continue our stay at the Lodge which we were devasted about. June was extremely kind, caring and compassionate with all three of us. We were extremely lucky to have her to help us through this difficult time. We would highly recommend June and the Lodge for anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay with a wonderful hostess. June had chatted with us on arrival about all the wonderful places we could visit but unforunately the accident happened and we didn't get to do them. However we are sure anyone staying in the area would have lots to see and do and we hope we may return tk stay at the Lodge again in the future.

  • Exceptional welcome and hospitality from June. I mentioned that my family were celebrating my mums birthday and going for a meal in the lovely olde post inn restaurant across the road. June had the open fire ready for our arrival and was so kind to put up balloons and decorations which were a lovely surprise. She also provided us with sandwiches and biscuits. Such kind and thoughtful touches. Thank you June. The cottage house is very quaint and perfect for a family or group of couples/friends to stay in. Very close to butlers bridge and Cavan town. It has a fully equipped kitchen, cosy separate living room with open fire, and 3 generous size double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms (one with toilet only). Would highly recommend this accommodation. June is definitely a super host :-)

  • June was extremely helpful and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed

    Katherine2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • We spent two days at the Gate House, using it as a base for exploring County Cavan. The Gate House is charming, and June is a wonderful host! She made us feel so welcome with her hospitality, having sandwiches (which were delicious) ready for us. As we had had a long day of driving, they were most appreciated! Thank you again June!

  • Clover Hill Gate House is a beautiful and comfortable stone cottage. I was attending a wedding at The Olde Post which is was right beside the cottage so the cottage was extremely convenient. The house had everything you need and more. It was clean and fresh. I was so cosy and comfortable I didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend this place to stay. Thanks June for a wonderful stay at your lovely cottage.

Curry's Cottage is in a deeply rural location convenient to Enniskillen in Co Fermanagh and Belturbet in Co Cavan. It is close to angling facilities and local sights such as Marble Arch Caves and Castlecoole. You will stay in a modern cottage but be able to enjoy the historic thatched cottage beside it.
Experience a relaxing and peaceful stay in this quiet rural area of Fermanagh. The modern cottage is comfortable and compact and has all the facilities you will need for a comfortable stay. The adjoining thatched cottage is a grade-A listed building with mud walls and cruck thatched roof, little changed in over two hundred years, and visitors can absorb its ambience at their leisure and learn about life in rural Ireland in the 19th century.
Close to the Marble Arch Caves and Enniskillen town is only a 20 min drive away. Bundoran Beach is approx 1 hr picturesque drive away. The french watermill restaurant is stunning and only approx 15 min drive away close to Lisnaskea.
  • Great location for country life.

  • Curry's cottage is amazing. Old and new compliment each other. Great surroundings. Sheep, birds and pine marten at the back of the thatched cottage. When the sun shone it was wonderful. I caught two rainbows. When it rained i was dry, snug and warm. I'll come back.

    James2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • We have spent a wonderful trip in this cottage. Waking up surrounded by such friendly sheep, going out fishing in a magnificent countryside, and spending the night around a cosy fire. We will come back for sure!

Around the house there are fields with cows and sheeps which voices will greet you when you step outside the house. The neighbourhood is worth to spend few days with beautiful lakes and Marble Arch caves. Of course the hosts have been very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our stay at Country Retreat!

  • This appartment is beautifully finished to a high spec and is spotlessly clean. We were welcomed by Alfie and Sharon who are so friendly and hospitable. They made sure we had all we needed and were really quick to respond to any questions. Located in picturesque and peaceful countryside and yet minutes away from shops it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing break. Bonus points for the fantastic hottub under a wooden cabin so rain hail or shine you can chill in the bubbles. We really loved our stay here and will be making plans to return soon. Thanks so much Alfie and Sharon!

Fully restored in 1995 and again refitted in 2014 The Belturbet Railway Station Masters House is a Grade one building now available for you to rent for a short break or holiday. The Belturbet Railway Station Masters house forms part of the Heritage Railway restoration project undertaken by the Belturbet Community in 1995. The railway station when it opened in 1885 served as a railway junction for the Great Northern Railway Company of Ireland and the Cavan Leitrim line. Two of the lines most famous steam engines now lend their names to the two bedrooms in the house, namely Lady Edith, our twin room and Kathleen our double room. The Belturbet Railway Station Master house has been lovingly refitted to bring in the modern age with mod cons such as a flat screen TV and Wi-Fi. The house is Ideally situated in the peaceful town of Belturbet on the banks of Upper Lough Erne and with direct access to the Shannon-Erne Waterway. Importantly due to the age of the building it not wheel chair friendly. Belturbet, well known for its fishing and water sports such as rowing and kayaking situated in the only International Geopark with protected wildlife sanctuaries offering the visitor many varied walks and wildlife spotting opportunities.
Belturbet is a very quiet peaceful town on the Northern Ireland border and is well known internationally for its very good fishing. The River Erne is at the heart of the town both past and present and it is this marvel of nature that has always brought life to the town.
  • A great house in a lovely location. The house is so spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Our party was 4 adults and a baby and we loved the house. The rooms are huge, and have great character. Our relatives came to check it out and were so impressed. The location was great for us visiting relatives in Cavan. The town was friendly, we were so relaxed during our stay. Thanks so much to Kevin, a great host. We'll definitely recommend to our family and friends when we have future trips to Ireland, and we'd stay here again.

  • My husband, son and I had a brilliant stay for 4 days in the Station Masters House, next to the Belturbet Station, with all it's interesting history. Kevin met us at the house to show us round and was available if we needed anything. We hired a day boat from Kevin and enjoyed the River Erne. We drove around the many lakes with beautiful scenery. We went to Cong Estate for a day, a lovely walk. The town is friendly, the Seven Horseshoes pub does delicious food, we ate there 3 times. All in all it was a very good place to stay and I would recommend it.

    Alicia2017-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kevin was a thorough gentleman to deal with. Quick & courteous in all communications. Nothing was a problem. The house is an absolute gem! We were a little bit apprehensive that as an older property it might be cold or damp. We could not have been more wrong! It was so warm and comfortable - even at the end of November. The areal is lovely. Belturbet has a large range of Take Aways & restaurants - to suit all tastes. The marina is just beautiful. I can only imagine what it must be like in summer! A bit further away you would have lots of touring opportunities. Go here - you won't regret it.

    Enda 2014-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay at the Station Masters house. House was lovely and spacious . It was very clean and cosy. There were lots of heating options so the house was lovely and warm, which is unusal for a period property! Kevin and his wife were very nice and accomadating. Would definitely stay again.

  • This is an idyllic setting for a holiday retreat. There were 6 of us staying (4 adults and 2 kids) and there was loads of room inside and outside. It was so peaceful and beautiful there. Martina welcomed us warmly with keys and very kindly with some special baby toys from her own home knowing we had a little one away with us. She sorted out any minor issues we had while we were there like extra towels etc. Dylan was fantastic communicating with us throughout the whole booking and trip. We would definitely return!

  • We had a great time in this lovely cottage if you need a break from the hussle of the daily activities this place is for you. Fire place at night time with family and some good white wine will be remembered for a long time..

  • Highly recommended cottage. We all had a great time in this unique, adorable cottage. The girls really enjoyed feeding the animals especially the chickens. Helen and Robert were great hosts and we can't wait to return.

  • What an amazing stay! The cottage was lovely and the perfect location for exploring my Irish roots in Derrylin & Newtownbutler. The accomodations are spacious and very charming. You really get a feel of old-time living with modern conveniences. The heating kept us warm and the weather was so beautiful that we often had the doors open to let the fresh air in. We were greeted by Robert with fresh eggs from the chickens, and were introduced to the new pigs Madeline and Maise. My wife fed Kim the horse carrots everyday. Helen was a treasure of local information and made contact with newly found relatives on my behalf. She arranged meetings for us and even drove us to churches and houses pertinent to my kin. She also booked our trip to Marble Arch Caves, suggested daily itineraries, and provided directions. This was the perfect introduction to our Ireland vacation. We plan to return someday with extended family in tow and will definitely be contacting Helen for another booking!

  • Helen was an amazing host and the cottage was utterly beautiful. It is located in a very beautiful area with nature surrounding every angle of the house and great sized rooms, with alot of communal areas and plenty of parking. Helen was kind enough to come over and give us many baked goodies, cake slices, sandwiches... No rating to describe how great this place was. Definitely recommend anyone coming to this side of the world to stay here!!!

    Nina2016-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was as great as expected. As it was dark when we arrived Helen kindly 'collected' us from the nearby village. The space is perfect for kids: they felt immediately at home, running around and finding blocks and cars to play with. Very cosy for a winter stay with the huge fireplace, and also got a chance to say goodbye tio all the animals before we left. Definitely recommended.

  • Really pretty cottage in lovely countryside. Wonderful welcome on arrival, the fire was lit and Helen had made us some apple crumble! Will definitely be going back

My home is comfortable and welcoming. Situated on the banks of the river Erne, it is a peaceful and tranquil place to unwind. The N3 is 1 km away and the local town Belturbet is 3km drive or 2km to walk too. Cavan is 16km, Enniskillen about 30km. There are many wonderful places to explore nearby. All my rooms are ensuite. Breakfast can be ordered in advance and will cost €10 for a full breakfast. I look forward to welcoming all my guests.
My home is unique because it is my home and I love it. Every experience is different.
Beautiful in every season, I love the view, watching the swans glide by, listening to the birds, a donkey braying. Very peaceful. Good for my soul.
  • Accueil chaleureux garanti dans un lieu très agréable. Merci à notre hôte Bernadette pour son hospitalité.

My home lies on the banks of the river Erne. Two kms from the town of Belturbet. My house is colourful, comfortable and welcoming. There are many lovely walks along country lanes. You can also take a canoe on the river or just sit by the river and enjoy the peace and quiet. My decking overlooks the river and is a lovely place to relax. I will allow animals in certain circumstances but not in the bedrooms as I have to consider other guests.. Full breakfast €10 extra. Look forward to meeting you.
  • We had a marvellous 2 nights at Bernie's home - our rooms were spacious and roomy - there was tea and coffee, breakfast was great - museli, juice, bread and jams! The location is off the beaten track which suited us down to the ground - Bernie's house has frontage onto the River Erne, so my partner and son were able to go canoeing, and we were all able to go wild swimming - it was wonderful - so refreshing! Bernie is a friendly, relaxed hostess - her hospitality was great. Many thanks

  • Very cute place with calm surroundings. In addition to an excellent host, there are horses next door and a very sweet, friendly cat.

Visit Gad Island with its look out tower, Crom Castle with the largest Yew Tree in Ireland or Inish Rath, an island with the original Land Steward's house for the Crom Estate.
  • Very impressed with the accommodation

    Tanya2018-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great Cottage, bigger than the photos show with two really nice decks for sitting out on. Location a bit out of the way but right on a private marina so you can fish boat and canoe to your hearts content. if you are looking for peace and quiet then this is perfect. don't think I have slept to well in a long time. Small park for younger ones on site which is virtually car free so very very safe. we only saw two cars all week. Didn't meet Robyn but the communication was perfect both prior to and during the stay, however did meet Robyn's mum and she gave useful ideas for eating and visiting. all in all exceeded our expectations.

  • Host was very responsive, House was stylish and cosy, too cold for the hot tub but will definitely be returning. Area was stunning for walks in the forest and the cabins themselves were beautiful and picturesque.Very clean and spacious, can’t wait to see it in the summertime !!Thanks Barry :-)

  • Great secluded cabin. Only a short drive from lots of little villages. Communication from Barry was great. Everything you need to have a nice relaxing few days away

  • We had a great week here, with two adults, two teenagers and two tweens. Lovely setting in the forest, the front balcony is covered with a fabulous big barbque which meant we could eat out every evening, despite the Irish weather not always being the best. Barry communicated quickly and reliably anytime we got in touch. Plus the wifi was excellent ( a must when you are traveling with kids our age :). Highly recommend and great value.

  • We all had a great time! Was sad to have to check out so early on the Sunday! Hot tub and log fire were amazing. All in all a good weekend away! Would definitely go back.

  • The lodge is lovely, clean , spacious and in such a quiet area. We had a great stay and would return again

  • Happy enough stay for the weekend. A little OTT with the communication. Emails and texts before hand to agree to house rules etc. The host also arrived at the house unannounced the second morning to get something from the property, since there was so much texting it would have been nice to get a heads up as most were sleeping after the wedding the night before. More texts on the morning of check out with a list of 8 instructions of cleaning/organising which was a bit unfair considering the large cleaning fee. Also a bit rude texting that morning telling us to be gone by checkout time for next guests. Not to mention the chain saw (host stayed in next door cabin) at 10.30 am to cut down branches and tree parts 10 metres from the house as we were trying to vacate the property and load the car. Just glad we weren't lying in that morning!
