“In November 2002, the Eataly concept was born from Oscar Farinetti’s idea sketched on a piece of paper. The idea was simple: to gather under one roof high-quality food at sustainable and reasonable prices for ALL, celebrate Italian biodiversity, and create an informal, natural, and simple place to eat, shop, and learn.”

“ One of the neighborhood's most famous brunch spot, they serve simple but awesome egg dishes with ingredients that come from their own farm upstate. We recommend to get there before 12 / 12:30 to avoid the long lines.”

“I love love love this place- Fresh patries made daily in the french method. If you have a minute to wait, order some delicious food while you're at it...Just know everything takes a while here, so don't recommend it if you're in a rush to get somewhere...but it's definitely worth the wait!”

Restaurante vegetariano/vegano
$$
“Popular vegan diner which has all the comfort food dairy-free that you can imagine! Vegan milkshakes, healthy and hearty egg scrambles, Really delicious! Tourists from all over to come try the food out here. One time I unknowingly took someone to this diner who I didn't realize at the time- didn't know it was vegan- and to this day they still do not know!! They got a cuban ham sandwich! One of my favorites. They also have ruebens and other popular meaty favorites in the vegan version. It's truly hard to tell. Kat Von D frequents this restaurant quite often as well!”

Tienda de donas

“Donuts that are truly unsurpassed by any other donut or donut shop I have ever been to in my life-- and I'm a life-long donut fanatic! Bettter than krispy kreme's which I loved as a kid. Huge PLUS: They also just happen to be vegan! The most popular flavor is the jelly donut with peanut butter icing and a chocolate drizzle, (my own personal favorite as well!) But they have other unique flavors that are fun to try such as: Rosemary butter flavor, Blueberry french toast, Pistachio, Raspberry with oat flakes, Strawberry, and more! Truly a Must-have!”
