“Several times a week, the Grand Ole Opry takes place as a showcase of the best country, bluegrass, and folk bands in the country. The night GP caught it on a visit back to the Ryman, she saw the amazing Emmylou Harris, Carrie Underwood, and Vince Gill, just to give you an idea of the kind of all-star casts the Opry always hosts. The entire show is broadcast live on WSM-AM at 7 p.m. and is the longest-running radio show in history. ”

“Yeah, we know it’s weird that we have a replica of The Parthenon, but it’s really quite remarkable to visit. The museum inside is also worthy of a visit. The park surrounding is also a beautiful place to walk around and take in the views. Some weekends, the park hosts events that include concerts, art exhibits, and other fun activities unique to Nashville.”

“ the venue that started it all. It was the Ryman -- “the Mother Church of Country Music” -- that first started attracting names like Hank Williams, Dolly Parton, and George Jones, securing Nashville’s status as the American center of country music. The Ryman remains a country music mecca, but as one of the city’s most dazzling concert-going experiences, has also hosted everyone from the Foo Fighters to Janelle Monae. Even if you don’t make it to a concert, it’s at least worth taking the time for a brief tour. Check their homepage for concerts and dates.”

“We've been to some great venues around the country, and Ryman Auditorium is absolutely one of the most stunning concert halls around. Tours are available, but the real treat is getting to see a live show in the beautiful auditorium that was once a church. Its history is unrivaled and its lineups of shows is unprecedented. If you do see a show here, get there when the doors open for a chance to get an exclusive Hatch Print that's uniquely hand-pressed for each show; they are $20 and available in limited amounts at the upstairs merchandise booth. ”

Football Stadium
“Located on the opposite side of the Cumberland River, across from downtown Nashville, this is the home of the Titans. It’s a creatively designed stadium that offers incredible views of downtown. There are also other events that take place here, like major league soccer games and high-profile concerts. Take a look at the schedule and try to take in an event, because you won’t be disappointed.”
