“The Gateway of India is an arch monument built during the 20th century in Bombay, India. The monument was erected to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Mary at Apollo Bunder on their visit to India in 1911. Great views of the Arabian Sea and you can also take a ferry ride to see the ancient Elephanta Caves or take a 2 day trip to Alibaug Beach. Gateway of India is 1 hour (21 kms) from Close to Coast Studio Apartment. You can take an Uber/Ola or local train from Santacruz to Churchgate station. Please note : Ferry rides are closed down during monsoons.”
