“This downtown is a perfect blend of old and new. Restaurants aplenty, from fast food to top end and everything in between. There is a movie multiplex (Arclight), a vintage hotel with bar and music and, yes Virginia, there is a Starbucks. The Kirk Douglas Theater is part of the Los Angeles Center Theater Group and often has tickets for it's current productions. Some of our favorites: Rush Street (for a quieter experience sit outside), inside and out the bar food is great and the bar is hopping. Chicas Tacos, Cauliflower/Mushroom tacos are fabulous. Our favorite breakfast place (good for lunch and dinner too), Cafe Vida. See the food section for more downtown eateries. ”

“Very affluent and laid back atmosphere on the clean streets of this historical city, home to the FOX Moviehouse, and The Crest, two landmarks in the heart of Westwood Village. All newly released Hollywood movies are presented here, with the Red carpet, and you can be part of it. I will guide you for a fee, for 6 hours around UCLA, and the Hammer Museum, as well as to see Marilyn Monroe's Vault. Exciting and impressive.”
