“Sweet Melissa's is just over the footbridge (if walking) and is a delicious vegetarian cafe with an attached bar called "Front Street". The atmosphere is fantastic and the food and drinks are too. Melissa, the owner, happens to live on the same street as the Cedar House rental! Even if you're not a vegetarian, give it a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed! ”

“Night Heron is a lovely place, filled with a calm, relaxing atmosphere and a definite local favorite! Just like Sweet Melissa's, the owner of Night Heron books lives on Cedar Street as well! This is also a used book store, so be sure and find a treasure to read while on vacation! Local art is normally on display as well. ”

“The University of Wyoming is located in Laramie. Depending on the season you can catch an athletic event, a music presentation, dance or theatrical production. The University campus has both an Art museum and a Geological museum. Check out the University's website for athletic and cultural events and other interests you may have. ”

“Coal Creek TAP is connected to Coal Creek Coffee House. They have a great selection of Laramie brewed beers and a nice atmosphere! Better yet, it is located directly at the bottom of the footbridge! Look for the mural with colorful hands and fish that is painted on the side of the building! ”
