“Chenang and Pantai Tengah area is where you will find a multitude of bars, pubs, and places to eat. If you are looking for action day or night. At the end of Pantai Tengah end of Chenang Beach you will see a The Cliff bar and restaurant jutting out over the water. It is a great place to soak up the atmosphere. In the afternoon you might like to inquire if they have any drink specials? There is no guarantee but you may be lucky. Cliff carpark behind Underwater World.”

“This is of the most beautiful beaches you can find on the island. It stretches along the north of the island, covering the entrance to the mangrove where the water is pristine. The sunset here is amazing.”

Mountain
“This is one of the owner's favorite places in the world. The road up Gunung Raya is ~12Km long, it takes you through the various strata of tropical rain forest. Wind the windows down on your car to experience the sounds and smells of nature. The best times to go are early morning before before 9:30am and late afternoon about 6pm as you might be lucky enough to see and hear Great and Lesser Hornbills leaving or returning to their nests. On a clear day it is worth the trip any time during daylight hours. The vistas across the island at many of the parking spots give a great sense of the island. DO NOT visit during or just after heavy rain. Landslips do happen and the road isn't great.”

Parque
“Bring a knapsack, towels & a change of clothes to enjoy the cool waters of the waterfall, great activity on a hot day. There is a Zipline at the base of the trail to the waterfall for those seeking adventure in the treetops. BEWARE : Rocks are slippery, do not go near the edge. DO NOT feed the monkeys and keep an eye on your belongings. Not recommendable on rainy days as the rocks are especially slippery. Very close to the Cable Car.”

“Is the sand at this beach really black? Yes, well almost :). The sand is not exactly pitch black, it appears as if some kind of black dust has been mixed with the normal sand. ”
