“Check out the events page at Pleasant Home's website, for some great free local activities like ice cream socials, a monkey organ rally, holiday market, among other things. If you're here on a Friday night in August, I highly recommend the silent movies on the porch with live music accompaniment. It's the most charming thing around. Suggested donation of $5-10. They also do tours of the gorgeous historic home and sometimes have free admission in the winter.”
