“Yes it’s a cemetery but it is incredible to drive through or walk/hike through. The temples and view are stellar.”

“Sunny calm expanse of beach with grassy flatland. Great for a picnic getaway and spectacular views of Mokoli'i (Chinaman's Hat Island) and nā Ko'olau.”

“Great spot for photos, picnics, beach walks and just hanging out. This is one of our go-to spots to walk our dog and enjoy a less crowded beach. The famous Mokoli'i island aka China Man's Hat can be seen here. Take a nice long walk down "Secret Island" and enjoy ocean and mountain views without the crowds.”

“Rent a kayak here and paddle to the beautiful sandbar on Kaneohe Bay, visit "Gilligan 's Island" and snorkel amid colorful fish in the reefs. The park, less than 2miles away, is open daily.”

“1.5-2 hours round trip. Need bug spray but shaded. Can be very slippy if wet (don't recommend to hike when wet). Stunning views at the top of Kaneohe Bay - worth the hike up! Don't park at McDonalds (they tow), part at the cinema or grocery store. Use Yelp for directions to find the trail head.”

“KAHALU'U BEACH PARK is the most popular snorkelling spot on the Kona Coast. Its nickname is turtle beach for the number of green sea turtles you will nearly bump into while in the water. This beach has full amenities including equipment rental. Parking is limited. Arrive early. (20- 25 minutes)”
