“It is a 10-15 minute drive from the house and is an amazing day out, suitable for the whole family. The historic seat of the Clan McLeod, visitors can look around ten different buildings dating from 1200 to the 1850's. Tickets for the Castle and Gardens are £13 for adults and £9 for children. The castle has a good collection of beautiful paintings, heirlooms, including the legendary Fairy Flag and interesting artefacts including historic weapons. The formal gardens are fabulous.”
