A great place for a quick overnight stay! The downstairs had a nice selection of coffee, and the upstairs bedroom was clean and comfortable to sleep in. Bonus points for the extremely powerful ceiling fan upstairs, it kept the room nice and cool all night!

Awesome home with a lot of cool features! Bed slept comfortably. Clean towels were provided. Anne is a great host with great communication. Really cool and interesting property. Would definitely stay again.

Anne’s place is the perfect place to stay in Houston! It was modern and very clean. I enjoyed staying at her place and appreciated all the local tips on food and attractions. I will be staying here again, if I were to end up in Houston again.

The house was very cute. It had everything you need for a few nights in. The bed was firm but not uncomfortable and had lots of pillows. The neighborhood was quiet and we didn’t feel unsafe at all.

Muy buena anfitriona, siempre nos brindó apoyo y nos ayudó un montón. La casa está ubicada cerca del centro en un barrio residencial bastante tranquilo. Está bien comunicado y hay un par de locales (restaurantes etc) cerca. La casa es preciosa, el huésped tiene bastante independencia porque la planta baja es prácticamente solo para él. Muy recomendable!

Fui a Houston con mi amiga y nos quedamos en casa de Natalie. La habitación era muy cómoda, y muy bien localizada. Tomándote un Uber estas al lado de cualquier lugar donde quieras ir. Si volvemos a Houston, volvería a hospedarme aquí sin ninguna duda.

Grace’s place was amazing. It is right in the middle of most places. Literally right across the street from Galleria Mall. It was a very comfortable and the view is the BEST part! The skyline at night was amazing! There is nothing that I did not enjoy. There is a full kitchen and small table for eating as well. I definitely recommend staying here!

We had a great stay! The building is very well located - easy to get on the highway and also close to the Galleria for shopping and restaurants. The washer and dryer in the unit was a major plus for us and the balcony offers a great view. Amenities were new and they bottles of water were left in the fridge for us to beat the heat. Thank you!

Donna has a beautiful upstairs apartment that was perfect for a weekend. The room was nice and private while also having access to the pool.

I stayed at Donna's beautiful listing from 6th-16th January. It was wonderful and one of the best Air Bnb experiences I've had. We arrived to a fully stocked fridge (including freshly cut pineapple), very comfy beds and a bathroom that included everything a visitor would need. The location is perfect. Surrounded by grocery stores and great restaurants. Donna was a wonderful host and could not have asked for a better host. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Houston

The cozy cottage was a perfect place for me while in Houston obtaining my Spanish visa. The trip was stressful but the central location and comfortable feel helped me wind down. The room is perfect for relaxing after a long day with good TV ( I love Netflix). Johnette was a wonderful and interesting host. I wish I had had more time to talk to her!

Anna's backyard cottage was comfortable, tidy and had most everything we needed.

Anna’s place is the best choice for solo or duo travelers! The space felt like a small European flat, super cozy and strategically located. It has everything you need (kitchen, comfy bed, etc). It was so easy to communicate with Anna and check in/out was a breeze, she still gives you as much privacy as you want. Definitely recommend this space if you’re looking for an all around pleasant and cost effective stay.

This house was adequate but definitely not where I wish I would have stayed in Houston. I was informed the morning of our check-in that there was an additional fee for a second guest. I also thought from the post the we would have our own bathroom but we had to share with another guest. This presented cleanliness issues. The location is good and the price for a single person is good.

This is a really comfortable, well thought out space with so many nice touches. It is sparkling clean and smells great. The bed will make you want to keep sleeping but right outside is a great neighborhood with good businesses in just a few blocks. Loved the green seed restaurant on the corner and Retrospect coffee and Axelrod's beer garden a few blocks away. Check out the Station art gallery if you're into aet. Jason's thought of everything and it's a quiet, private place.

Basic 1 room plus bathroom. Pretty basic facilities all round. Paper plates, plastic cutlery,etc, comfortable bed, not much happening within walking distance, 30 min walk to museum of natural sciences which is well worth a visit. Public transport is accessible but limited. Host was agreeable to us leaving our bags till the afternoon after checkout, this was most appreciated

Johnette's place was a great value. We would have had to pay at least $150 to find a hotel that would accept our pet. The location is great and very central to most Houston attractions. Everything described in the listing is accurate and we found the "cottage" very charming. The shower was a bit low for my 6'4" husband, but he made due. Not the most comfortable bed in the world, but perfectly acceptable for the overall value. We would stay here again!

Johnette’s place is wonderful! Loved using the claw foot tub. She provides coffee, bath essential and plenty of extra soft pillows and blankets. Easy area to park in. The patio is so cute and we were greeted by Tess the cat who is just about the sweetest and most friendly little cat ever. The area is beautiful and located a short distance from many fun areas in Houston. Whenever I come back I will definitely plan it so I can stay at Johnette’s again because it’s perfect

Johnette was most welcoming, and the room was clean and inviting. Nice big comfortable bed, snacks and coffee (Keurig machine with coffee in the room!) provided, big bathroom, Netflix, charming decor that had been carefully thought out.

Located in a great area close to shops and restaurants. Please know this is not an entire home, it is a studio room just in case you want to cook. The only problem we had was the extra charge for a ripped bath mat and the bed was very firm, too hard to get a comfortable nights sleep!

The ONLY downside is the loft bed (only bc we are bigger people and it was a challenge to get up and down the stairs and in the bed in the middle of the night) but that was our fault for not considering that when we booked. Everything about this place was amazing! The area was nice and about 30 minutes away from places we wanted to tour. They have a little kitchen if you wanted to store/heat up leftovers! There was plenty of natural lighting in the urban barn from all the windows. The house is small but the way they set it up made it feel cozy and quaint. If I didn’t want to explore Houston I would’ve just ordered in food and chilled at the barn. They had a stereo and a smart TV. My girls and I loved the place but we wished there were more mirrors for us to use. Overall, it was very clean and decorated very nicely (haha we had photoshoot inside the urban barn).

The house is so pretty and convenient with all stuffs for cooking, tv, etc. It was nice to stay there for vacation. I love it!!

We loved staying here! Super cute getaway for the night. I would stay in a tiny house any day over a hotel room. The shower was so big. I loved the light fixtures. A fan and heater were right next to the loft bed upstairs which was nice. Fairly easy to get down the stairs! I loved all the little touches. It was truly a special experience. If i had any recommendations it would be a couple extra pillows or i would recommend bringing your own if you like to sleep with multiple pillows. There was no blow dryer but no big deal ( it was for my husband anyway lol). I would definitely bring your own. Other than that, our night here was perfect! Also, Rom is super sweet. If we are ever back in Houston we will stay here again!

Ori's place is a beautiful remodel. There is plenty of room (three bedrooms with open space) to accommodate several guests. The home is as nice as it appears on the listing. Check in and check out is very easy. The location is central and was close to most places we were visiting. The neighborhood was quiet when we visited. In our opinion the neighborhood is average, appearing to be in the beginning stages of renovation. It is on the upswing but not trendy yet and we can't honestly compare it to any others in that area. The only real negative to the house was that there were some ants in the kitchen. It is Houston though and we may have been near the time for the house to be sprayed. I looked further through reviews and found that this comment appears once about every two to three months. So it would be nice to inquire whether it has been treated or the problem has been fixed.

Es realmente lo que vez en la foto,super cerca del aeropuerto,limpio ,bonito comfortable ,si hago otra escala en houston definitivamente vuelvo.

Tal y como se observa en las fotos, cama muy comoda y nos tenian agua y varias botanas para quitar el hambre, Steven tuvo el detalle de parar en una tienda para que compraramos algo de comer y nos trasladamos con su ayuda desde el aeropuerto super rapido, despues de 10 horas de vuelo agradeci mucho su ayuda para el traslado a su casa y al dia siguiente muy temprano igual al aeropuerto, Steven es muy servicial y respeta mucho la privacidad, toda la casa tiene detalles, el baño muy bien equipado, 100% recomendable si van a Houston y si deben hacer escala y dormir unas horas. Saludos.

Desde el primer contacto se notó que iba a recibir un excelente recibimiento. Llegando todo estaba perfectamente preparado y con instrucciones claras de uso, además me asesoraron para comprar comida express. A parte es muy conveniente la cercanía al aereopuerto, lo cual era necesario para mi viaje. Definitivamente totalmente recomendados para hospedaje.

todo estuvo muy bien, Vanessa es muy atenta y su casa tiene mucha onda! muy pintoresco el baño con su tina de metal. como las que usan los vaqueros en los filmes del far west, y muy rico el vino de bienvenida. Debí abandonar el lugar el último día para viajar a Austin pero me llevo un gran recuerdo de Vanessa y su "you are welcome" al final de cada diálogo. Súper interesantes fueron las visitas al market y la Biblioteca Pública de Riggs St. Buenísima experiencia en Houston!

She welcomed me with open arms and gave me a tour of her home. It's not modern or conservative at all but this was expected. Picture a woman who just got done gutting out her house and watches HGTV all day. I know when she is done it will be amazing! My room was very spacious, comfortable, nice, and private. I slept like a baby and was very cool. The neighborhood was quiet, it's right next to UH (Go Coogs!), places to eat, and the highway so I could hop on and get anywhere I need to be. I would definitely book with her again with no issues.

This is a great value. Stephanie was quick to respond to our last minute request. We got in after a flight close to 9PM and the check in was very easy. The host left snacks in the space and the space itself was very clean and had everything we needed. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area again.

We came to visit Houston for a short trip enroute to Mexico City. We came across Dwain's rentals and was thrilled that at one point he lived in San Diego (where we currently reside). Dwain has several small rental units on his property, we chose unit #5. Unit #5 has it's very own entrance on the side of his home, a sweet parking spot was on the driveway for us, as a parking pass is required for the street. Pros of the unit and area: -the unit is indeed private, it has its own entrance from the side of the yard to easily enter and exit as you please without disturbing your neighbors. -this little unit has a small kitchen equipped with a microwave, oven and refrigerator, (there is no stove top though). -towels, linens, extra blankets and pillows were available in the space -if you like the idea of a tree house/tiny house, this is the unit for you! -we we're able to launder our clothes before departing on to the next leg of our trip. (This was a huge plus, and very generous of the owner to let us do this) -there was a welcome basket full of mixed snacks, coffee and water provided by the owners, some great delicious options! -the unit is walkable to several midtown restaurants. Negatives of the unit: -the bed sits on a upper "crawl space" above the bathroom, if you are a person who frequently uses the restroom, this may not be the unit for you. Its dangerous climbing down the stairs (no side rails), so we had to carry the remote for the light to turn on/off -the toilet does not flush properly, it takes at least 2 flushes to drain a number one, and 3-4 flushes for a number two -the structure of the unit... is not the best construction work, given the option, this isn't a space we would live in. It definitely was made for a quick stay over and leave Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed with our stay, upon arrival we were never notified that there would be construction, it was not super early (9-10amish) but we were still in bed on vacation surprised that construction was being done to the physical unit. At one point we heard a tap at the door being asked to move our vehicle so the workers can haul things in. I wonder what the owner would have done if we weren't in the unit? Even when told of the construction (after the first day), there wasn't an offer for a different unit away from the area, we didn't think we'd would be in our unit frequently to move. After coming back from our first day out we found a small bag of screws/bolts, and several little styrofoam pieces on the ground- someone had entered the unit, because we noticed that our luggage was moved from under the ladder/stairs to the walkway of the bathroom. We later found out that a new...

He offers so many amenities! The location is close to everything and everywhere you might want to go, it is in downtown Houston sonit was a bit of a culture shock at first. The neighborhood is very safe, and he has Netflix on the smart tv, best weekend ever!

Wow!! Mere words cannot tell the story of Dwain's place. You'll just have to book a room for yourself! I will say it is the BEST AirBnB that I have stayed at thus far!! It's modern, very clean, cozy and comfortable. I was surprised when I saw nail polish remover and cotton balls in the cabinet! He thought of every little touch to make your stay as close to home as possible. Dwain and his dogs were outside (enjoying the evening) and greated me with a smile. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my stay the room was very nice and very close to everything. The room was very clean; I recommend this stay if you are visiting Houston.

Anuj's place was exactly what I needed for my short stay in Houston--a clean, well-equipped, and comfortable place to come home to at the end of a long day out. The property is situated very close to the University of Houston which is convenient if you have business there. Anuj was also extremely responsive and accommodating of my requests. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying if you're looking for a cozy place to rest while you explore Houston.

This is an extremely small space. It's good to crash for the night if you are okay sleep in small spaces. The bed is a bunk bed under a very short ceiling clearance. Not suitable for heavy or old people. This is good for teenagers or students. The price was too high for the value of the place. We have stayed in small Airbnbs before that were larger than this one and half the price.

This is a fantastic space. Private entrance, full fridge and microwave, and a nice sink to wash any dishes/cups/etc. Chairs and table outside if the weather is nice. There is a full size bed and a very comfortable futon to sit or sleep on. Table and chairs inside to seat two for dining or relaxing. It is the perfect location in Pasadena, close to both the beltway and 225. Quiet neighborhood, easy to find. Bathroom is all your own, with a nice stand-up shower and small closet area if you have hang up clothes. I highly recommend Hansel's place! Thumbs UP!!!

Very nice, quiet and clean place to stay. Hansel was very accommodating within very short notice and communicated well and quickly. This is a small place but functions very well. The shower stall is an RV sized about 26x36 inch. In such a small area it is a bit challenging to maneuver while showering. I would definitely stay here again. Hansel keeps a clean yard on the front of the house facing the street.

The place is very clean, neat, and comfortable. It was far better than i expected and the pictures posted dont show how spacious and luxurious the apartment actually is. Directions were easy. I was very comfortable and really enjoyed my stay. When i go back to houston i will book the same spot. Close to any store you need. Close to the football and basketball stadium. I loved it. Has all amenities you need.

Antes de realizar el registro de entrada, muy atentamente me escribió dándome las instrucciones de ingreso al departamento, en la cual por medio de un tipo casillero retiré la llave de ingreso al departamento. La habitación se encuentra en la planta baja y cuenta con un refrigerador, ventilador, televisor y un baño completo fuera de la habitación. Se me proveyó de toallas, secadora de cabello y de la llave de la habitación. Solo me quede por un par de noches así que no existió interacción con el dueño de casa hasta el último día que se realizó el registro de salida. Todas las instrucciones de uso del baño, lugares turísticos, contraseña del WIFI se encuentran escritas en una cartilla. Según los conductores de uber, el departamento esta bien localizado, y en la noche tome uber con precios accesibles debido a su cercanía con el centro de la ciudad. Existen paradas de buses cercanas, aunque me comentaron que en las noches siempre hay que tener cuidado por los vagabundos en Houston. El aeropuerto se encuentra aproximadamente a 1hr en bus. En general, me pareció un buen hospedaje ya que puedes utilizar la cocina y el piso inferior es totalmente para el invitado. Además, estando cercado el conjunto departamental da mas seguridad a la vivienda.

Excelente lugar. Cerca de paradas de buses y del metrorail. Recomiendo un sushi bar llamado Kura a solo 700mts. El lugar es limpio y privado, nadie te molestará ahí. PD: tuve mala suerte nunca vi los gatos, asi que si para alguien esto es un problema no deberia molestarse en lo mas mínimo.

David and his 2 cats were wonderful hosts. His home is lovely, the bed was very comfortable and his place had everything you would need. I would definitely recommend his home to anyone coming to Houston.

David is a great host and has a beautiful and very clean home. Despite our plane being late David was still up to welcome us in. It's a short walk to some great eateries and not far to catch public transport into town. We felt very lucky to have stayed with David and we're sad we couldn't stay longer. We also had a late flight out that evening so we were very grateful that David allowed us to leave our baggage past our check out time. Thanks so much!

Check in and parking was easy! Parking was the most concerned part since parking can be hectic in Houston. But only around the corner from the space, there were plenty of street parking spots. The best part of this Airbnb is the location. It’s centrally located in midtown so it was so easy to get around w/o driving. (I used mostly Uber) There was a sheet of local guide on the bed which was helpful. Few coffee shops or restaurants are 10-15 min walk range. Also very quiet/safe and great for taking a walk during the day. The room itself was quite and clean plus dark as I love. Bed is very plush. Enough lighting options to fulfill your desire. Enough space on the closet and a fluffy comforter. Bathroom was clean over all. I had no issues. There were plenty of basic items such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash (seems like previous guests left them behind-lucky for me!) I didn’t have a chance to use the kitchen since I was busy trying all the foodie spots throughout Houston. I didn’t see David’s two cats (I didn’t know in advance) but also I didn’t have any allergic reaction as I thought I would. That means David keeps the room clean! Very impressive. I enjoyed this stay very much. I’d love to come back!

The stay here exceeded my expectations and I’m so sad I was only here for one night! The apartment is unbelievable with such amazing amenities. The showers are top notch AND having a private pool was awesome. I hope to stay here again soon for longer and actually put to use all the apartment has to offer!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alex & Randy's. The pool at night is amazing, and the twinkling lights on the deck and music add to the experience. They've thought of everything we could've wanted and more, and when we mentioned that we didn't have a spatula, immediately produced one of their own, and then brand new in the afternoon. They were readily available, and incredibly hospitable. My husband adores the projection screen, and I fully admit to dancing around the apartment aided by the built in sound system. We truly can't wait to return.

El lugar es espacioso, con buena luz y buen clima. Todo lo que indica en la descripción está tal y como dice. Los pasos qué hay que seguir para llegar y entrar son claros. El baño y el espacio en general son muy limpios y acogedores. Cuenta con muchos detalles que te harán sentir como en tu casa. Definitivamente regresaría.

Es muy fácil moverse al centro de Houston desde ahí. El único comentario es que el internet estuvo fallando un poco. Es un lugar ideal para ir solo o ir con tu pareja a la que le tengas mucha confianza, porque baño literal está dentro de la habitación y sólo tiene una cortina corrediza. Great place!

Tiny house accommodation with easy access to the major museums, downtown, and the interstate highways. The grounds are beautifully kept. The interior was clean. We loved the pillows, sheets, and comforter: extra soft and comfy! The towels were also good quality, and the shower worked well. Fridge and microwave were great, and we appreciated the cold bottled water. Free laundry facilities and supplies were much appreciated too! When we had a Wi-Fi problem, Marcus supplied us with an alternate means of access. A few things travelers should be aware of—tiny means just that. You won’t have much storage room, and as the shower is transparent and the toilet has only a hospital-type curtain around it, you’d best be extremely comfortable with your traveling companion. Parking was challenging at times. Although we appreciated having a gated compound, space was tight, and spots weren’t designated or marked, which led to some tight situations. Also in the evenings, an odd smell came over the neighborhood. We got a good value in this accommodation. It was nice for a getaway of a few days!

This is a great little place for a stacation! If you're looking for a hidden getaway this is it!

Johnette es muy amable, me dejó quedar en el departamento lo máximo posible y en el patio lo que yo necesitara hasta que llegara mi Uber! me recomendó lugares para ir! El lugar es agradable, el patio es hermoso pero hizo mucho calor en Houston los días que yo estuve como para disfrutarlo. El departamento es un poco caluroso, pero si cierras la puerta del baño se logra refrigerar bien con el A/C! Es recomendable si viajas solo. Hay una calle muy linda para caminar con restaurantes, una universidad cerca, es un lindo barrio.

Great little room to rent. Close to downtown, good restaurants pretty close by. Really nice neighborhood.

Great for a budget stay. In walking distance of a 24-hour Mexican restaurant. I only stayed for one night here and spent most of my time in the room. During my stay I found it to be a humid room with a damp smell that was quickly gotten used to. I wish I would have known better beforehand that the full bed is created from two twin-sized lounge chairs pushed together. I wouldn't recommend using them as one bed as even with the foam tops it's still uncomfortable. Criticisms aside, I was delighted Johnette included the manual for the portable AC in the room as I was unsure of how to use it at first. Reading the manual helped me figure out how to set it on the de-humidifying function, though it only helped a little. This place gets 5 stars because Johnette invites communication and respects renters' privacy.

Lovely place! A little smaller than I had pictured, but fit my needs perfectly and I would absolutely stay again. The location couldn't be better and the cottage was adorable!

Very tiny but perfect for 2, especially just for one night. Within driving distance (~10 min) from everything on our "to-do" list.

Pete was very prompt during the booking and greeted me when I arrived. It was all very easy. His place is clean, comfortable and conveniently located to downtown Houston. The room is self-contained and private. It is the ground floor of a modern block and is great as somewhere to drop your bags and go out, there is a lot to do nearby. The area was quiet and I slept really well. I'd stay there again or recommend it to others

Petr was a great host. I found myself in houston an extra day without a place to stay and he got the room ready and abailable very quickly to accommodate my stay. I didnt end up being in the room much as things came up and i worked most of my stay. I was able to grab a shower and a quick nap and things were quiet and clean.

Excellent location in Midtown. Comfortable, private room with some nice extras...bottled water, coffee/tea, refrig, microwave, etc. A good experience overall.
