“It was construction started 1 July 1962 and completed on 31 October 1966. It was also known as Reunification Palace where is built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, is a landmark in Saigon, Vietnam. It was designed by architect Ngô Viết Thụ and was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It was the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975, when a North Vietnamese Army tank crashed through its gates. The hours open: 07:30am - 16:00pm (Everyday) It take about 10 minutes from the apartment to Reunification Palace by taxi/Grab. ”

“If you do not have time to visit Cu Chi tunnels, you can choose Phu Tho Hoa tunnel, which is very near my home. Built in 1947, the tunnel under Phu Tho Hoa was used in both the French and American wars and and served as the prototype for their more more famous counterpart at Cu Chi.”
