Parque
“A city park in the centre of Helsinki. For a leisurely stroll, cafes and shopping. The cafe/restaurant "Kappeli" which you'll for sure notice, was constructed in 1867. Facing Kappeli, on Pohjoisesplanadi street, are restaurant "Aino" (recommend) and Robert's Coffee "Jugend" which is phenomenal inside (really great Jugend style hall, I mean). ”

“The Central Park of Helsinki offers excellent opportunities for outdoor sports and recreation. The nature in the Central Park is varied, with many different types of terrain and species of birds and mammals. The Central Park begins in the south at Töölönlahti Bay in the middle of the city and ends in Haltiala and the River Vantaa on the northern border of Helsinki. Covering a thousand hectares, the Central Park is ten kilometres in length and an excellent representative of the rich and varied nature in the southern coastal area.”

“Walk or jog around Töölö Bay is refreshing any time of the year. On summer time you can stop at the Blue Villas Cafe for refreshments or rent a SUP-board from the south most point, and not far from that is the main library Oodi which you'll have to visit too! ”

“A must see fortress island. Take the ferry from Kauppatori, regular buss ticket will do. Take warm clothing, it's always chillier there than on the mainland. This is why it's full on a hot day! ”
