Jardín
“There are several gardens within the RBG. You can get a day pass and see them all. My favourite garden is the Rock Garden. It is one of the most calm and serene places in the whole city. Only a 5 min drive from the house and you transported to place with incredible beauty and serenity. https://www.rbg.ca/ https://www.rbg.ca/rockgarden”

Zoo
“A fun experience for all ages. I've been going every year since I was a kid and now I go with my own kids. It's worth a few extra bucks to pay for the tour bus through the game reserve (so the monkey's don't rip off your wiper blades or do other damage to your car!) Make sure to catch the elephant swim time!”

Parque
“Beautiful and fun and some words I would use to describe this park. It's also one of the main reasons I moved my family to Burlington. This park becomes lit with Christmas lights in the Winter and there is outdoor skating. In the summer there is a splash pad and a walking trail running along Lake Ontario.”

Parque
“This park has excellent trails and many are not on the maps. There are also excellent trails on the East side of the river off of Bronte Road access not just on the West side. ”

Sendero
“This is one of the few waterfalls you can get to by bus - there is pay parking at the site but it will fill quickly on a weekend - go during the week and in winter - The colours in the ice and the snowy (but very easy and short) trails make this a short but worthwhile outing all year round”

Parque
“Bayfront Park boasts a number of features perfectly suited to a waterfront setting, including an extensive asphalt pathway; a lower shoreline walk; naturalized areas of shrubs, trees, and wildflowers; a public boat launch; numerous benches and picnic tables; and a natural grass amphitheatre. The park's upper plateau, an expansive lawn area, makes it an ideal location for special events. It is linked to Pier 4 Park by Macassa Bay Walkway.”
