“This place is awesome. Great food, diverse atmosphere, and live music! The Garryowen is a favorite for locals wanting to eat, drink, or see music. The expanded dining area offers a family-friendly space in addition to the bar space. The food is great, and the service excellent. ”

“Great food! It does get busy because it is great and is small, but put in your name and they will call your cell when ready!”

“Huge menu. Love their Acapulco salad...lots of jalapenos hiding in the lettuce leaves. Great place to watch activity on the Square. Get a window seat. ”

“Usually a little-bit more low key than the Garryowen's or the Blue and Gray. Also good for lunch.”

“Good food, great locally brewed beer. New building- open and inviting atmosphere. Fabulous patio when the weather is nice. In the heart of the tourist district, you will see locals as well as out-of-towners, and maybe even hear some music.”

“The most haunted building in Gettysburg. Look for the bullet holes in the bricks - there are hundreds. Several different indoor and outdoor eating spots to choose from. The standard menu food is "meh - nothing special" BUT the historic food is amazing and well worth the trip. Peanut soup, game pie, corn pudding and more. Definitely an excellent taste of history.”

“This is a true little PA bar. We actually don't hang out here because we prefer to drink wine/beer at the cabin on the porch. But if you are looking to go out and want someplace close by this is about 7 min away in Arendtsville.”

“Located 5 min from our cabin--Boyer Cellars is a tasting room located in the Boyer Nurseries' garden shop. In partnership with Matt Cimino, winemaker at Great Shoals Winery - Boyer Cellars sells a variety of red and white wines, hard ciders, and sparkling wines. The tasting room features a chestnut wood tasting bar, as well as a large, brick wrap-around porch with scenic views of the orchard and neighboring farms. ”
