Howdy! and Welcome!
The Lea Ranch Homestead is, as a friend once put it, "a little piece of heaven." The ORIGINAL ranch house--now 100 plus years old and remodeled--is nestled on 13 sections of land (that's 13 square miles!), unscathed by traffic, noise, and worldly bothers ... unless, of course, you get into your email or texts! LOL. It is ultra-peaceful, tranquil. A stay here is a connection with history. As well, it is a reprieve from life on-the-go with authentically hospitable hosts!
This spacious hacienda is situated on an authentic working ranch. The home was originally built in the early 1900's and has since undergone several remodels while keeping much of the original character and charm.
The decor includes family heirlooms and antiques as well as splashes of bright and cheery colors to balance the old and the new.
Our neighborhood includes pastureland, pastureland, and more pastureland. Our neighbors are cattle, goats, sheep, horses, and wildlife galore. We are located 30 miles from Fort Stockton and 35 miles from Sanderson on Highway 285 while being situated 2 miles from the main highway itself. It is VERY quiet, VERY peaceful. It is, as a friend put it, "a little piece of heaven."
