“The Town Landing, a mile away, is home to the largest anchorage in Maine. The vessels are mostly recreational sailboats, and a few commercial lobster boats. There is a small beach, pier, and cool rocks to sit on and watch all the activity. It's a great place to launch kayaks and paddleboards. The sunrises are amazing here! ”

“If you like beer then you have to make the trip to Industry Way, a worthwhile 15 minutes drive from our AirBnB. There are a number of breweries all within walking distance of each other: Allagash, Austin Street, Foundation, Battery Steele, and our favorite, Definitive. Make the rounds and try out some of the best breweries in Portland. Be sure to get the Vanilla Dome at Definitive if they have it. All of the breweries are kid friendly as well :)”
