“Located on the western tip of Granville Island in the heart of Vancouver, Bridges has been a landmark restaurant operation since 1980. The views of the city skyline, north shore mountains and the marine activity of False Creek cannot be beat! Bridges has a stunning location, overlooking the fishing boats in False Creek and the mountains of the North Shore. The 2nd floor dining room features a vaulted ceiling highlighting the original beams and trusses of this 1920's building, with floor to ceiling windows capturing every part of the view. In a casually elegant atmosphere, the chef presents a menu featuring fresh seafood, rich meats and local produce. Bridges Patio: An Institution The patio”

“Like boardgames and all things medieval, sci-fi and out of this world? Storm Crow Alehouse offers all of the above in one sit down restaurant/bar. Grab a boardgame with friends and stay a while. Take a chance with luck and roll the 20 sided die for a mystery shot or just enjoy a meal while taking in the wide range of Hollywood props and memorabilia collected from some of the best movies and television series of all time. ”

“Small bistro which has an extensive wine menu and amazing cheese and meat boards. They also do main courses. The story with this place is nice, it was formed by a group of locals from the area and is a nice relaxing spot. They also have specials on Sundays. ”

“Earls (local) - is another Canadian chain restaurant specializing in premium casual dining. Earls like Joeys and Cactus Club started in Vancouver and now has locations all across Canada and the US. The food is great and there is always something on the menu that will satisfy. This is a family restaurant and my kids love it and always find something on the menu they like but it doesn’t have a kid menu. My local pro tips: Parking – they have a parking lot and there is also street parking. Wait – they don’t have a huge wait but there is some wait during busy times. Patio – they have a great covered patio. Starters – Earls Menu is always evolving but my kids and I love the wings, specifically the Jamaican Jerk Wings, make sure you tell you waiter you would like the creamy Parmesan dip with you wings, without it, the wings wouldn’t be the same. They also have great dynamite rolls. Kids love their pizza, order them as a main or as an appetizer. Mains – I love their Cajun over roasted salmon and Cajun Blackened Chicken but I’ll emphasize you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Location – 1601 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6J 1W9 How long to get there – 8 -minute drive”

“This restaurant group is FAMOUS in Vancouver. It is trendy and popular. Low-lighting makes it a chill-spot to eat and/or a great watering hole. Bar area and patio are places to "be seen".”
