Parque
“Spencer Butte is the highest point in Eugene with a spectacular panoramic view. There are several trails that approach the summit, but the easiest trailhead approaches from the southwest, with the least elevation gain and gentlest grade. The last 0.5 mile is step and carved steps take you up. Dogs should be kept on leash for their and other park users' safety. Bring at least 1 liter of water per person and dog, and snacks.”

Parking is on the street and may be a little difficult but the area is abuzz with lots of food options and interesting folks. Opened in 1995, they now feature their own hand crafted microbrews, as well as others that are locally and regionally produced, wine, spirits and scrumptious vittles. They are also proud to have one of the West Coast's best stages to see diverse local, regional and worldly entertainment on a nightly basis. ”
