It's great for a stroll on a sunny day and affords wonderful views of our coastline towards Beachy Head and Hastings. The pier is free-of-charge for entry.”

“From Eastbourne Pier you can board bus 12 or any varient of the number 12 (the 12x is the express with limited stops). Journey time is 90 mins to Brighton but it is one of the most scenic bus routes in England - passing Seven Sisters, Seaford, Newhaven & Peacehaven along the way. A Network Saver costs £7 for the day allowing you to get on and get off at will for the day. A mobile ticket costs just £5 or a duo mobile ticket £8-40 (2 people travelling together). The big advantage is that your ticket is also valid on all Brighton & Hove buses in Brighton.”
