“Downtown needed another cocktail bar, and recently it got one, in the form of The Eddy. The intimate space just off Westminster Street is already a popular spot for the after work and late night crowds. The Eddy has already picked up some national attention as one of New York Magazine's 50 best cocktails pick. Jay Car is the self-proclaimed "bossman, barkeep." They wanted to bring all the drinks, beer, wine and bar snacks to the city in a way that they have not been done before.”

“Simply: North is my favorite restaurant in Providence. Their space is intimate and hip, the food is thoughtful, unexpected, and exquisite. They could easily be charging 2-3 times more for their dishes, yet they don't. ”

“We're from Texas where there are no shortage of great burger joints but this place gives them all a run for their money. Get the classic sliders with cheese, a side of fries and a craft brew or soda and enjoy (make sure to add a third!).”

“Ken's Ramen, Red Fin Crudo & Kitchen, and Figidini Wood Fire Eatery are next to each other on Washington St. downtown. All three are great for dinner. All three don't take reservations. All three closed Mondays. I recommend walking over and seeing which one has room for you. Ken's is the cheapest, fastest and most popular of them. Red Fin as a dollar oyster happy hour during the week during the summer and Figidini has the best wood fired pizza in town.”
