Castillo
“The Castle of Santa Bárbara offers you and impressive and 360º view of the city. The castle hosts a huge amount of history, and a guided visit would be the best way to enjoy the place. Please check it in the link all the info and activities organized at the castle. To reach the top of the castle you can enjoy a great walk (not very recommended in those summer sunny days) or take the lift (fees to be paid). https://www.castillodesantabarbara.com/index_en.html”

History Museum
“The Archaeological Museum of Alicant (called "Marq" by the locals) is well worth a visit. Even though Marq is not a national one, it hosts a great collection of pieces from the origins of Alicante. The holdings of the museum are very well organized and categorized. There is also temporary exhibitions which normally are quite stoning. Inside the gardens of the Museum there is a great bar (called Barq by the locals) where you can enjoy very good tapas. They offer breakfast, meals and dinners at a very good price. At nights the atmosphere is very cool. The staff is very nice. Please, check opening hours and exhibitions here: https://www.marqalicante.com/Paginas/eng/THE-MUSEUM-P13-M3.html ”
