“Super-chic up-market eco hotel ( adults only) overlooking the sea at Mawgan Porth. You can call for coffee or dine but go to their sister hotel, The Bedruthan, to park as the car park at The Scarlett is not very accessible. You can then walk through the hotel across to The Scarlett.”

“There is a small climbing wall and a children's play area with a café all of which are perfect for under 10's on a rainy day. You do not have to be staying at Gwel an Mor to use the facilities. “Super place for lunch or dinner. Lunch is very reasonable for hotel and silver service. The evening dinner is extremely lovely but it is smart dress code. Gin palace if this is your favourite tipple.”

Lodging
“Apparently the food is great here, I've never been but it's open to non residents and is in a stunning location. If you book some spar time, or use the pool up there, there is a hot tub on the veranda with a fabulous view. I don't know how much it costs for non residents to use these facilities (there is a spar there too) but it's worth asking. It's a fabulous colonial looking building that I believe Toad Hall was based on.”
