“World Famous for the ‘Thurman Burger’ this lunch spot is just one block away on Thurman Ave. Kind of a ‘dive’ but very popular for burgers and wings. Was featured on Man vs. Food!”

Taquería

“This is another Tex-Mex spot that has unique tacos and drinks. It's almost identical to Barrio Tacos in Cleveland if you've ever been there. Little more of a bar scene compared to Local Cantina, but the food is just as good. It's a great place to go with a group.”

“Set up in a former industrial space, it's been converted into a type of adult playground with duckpin bowling, pinball, foosball, over-sized jenga, shuffleboard, cornhole, and other games. It really reaches its full potential in the warmer months when the outside areas can be utilized. Definitely a top spot to meet up with groups of friends. Oh yeah, they offer unique cocktails and local craft beers too.”

Pizzería

“I recommend the German Village location, primarily because it's next to a great spirits/cocktail bar called Curio. This place focuses on using local ingredients to make fresh, hand-tossed pizzas. Their appetizers are a little more fine-dining than expected for a pizza place and definitely add to the quality of this spot. I've eaten here a few times and yet to have something I didn't want more of.”

“LBGT friendly bar/restaurant. Strongest cocktails in the Short North. The Long Island Iced Teas are deadly... drink with caution lol!”

“The location of our first date (it was probably a bit excessive but we are a bit excessive)! Amazing little gem tucked away in German Village with a ton of character, charm and warm feelings. Make sure you order the ravioli - you won't forget it. ”
