“It's cool to shop around here, and you can grab a drink on the top floor. It's of course expensive but a great view. Take the 146 Bus from Lakeshore and Roscoe. If you turn left going out of the apartment building, the stop is at the end of the block. It takes you straight downtown. ”

“One of the most famous places to visit in Chicago, IL is the Hancock Building on Michigan Avenue located downtown. There is an observation deck on the 96th floor of the building. If you are not looking to spend your money on admission to have a beautiful view, you can simply visit the Signature Room, a restaurant and bar one floor down for a drink or a bite. The view is at least as good as on the 96th floor and you get to sip on your favorite cocktail.”

Cine independiente
“This is a lovingly restored 1920's movie theater that shows current films. It's divided up into 4 (?) theaters with a bar lounge area. Life doesn't get much better than sitting in a theater, watching a movie with fresh popcorn in one hand and an ice cold craft beer in the other. Be sure to go to the bathroom, it's a flash from the past. Or should I say a flush from the past (ha ha). ”
