“Come with a group for a fun, lively music filled evening! Right on Ocean Avenue, it always has a wait list to get in. It’s as much about the food as it is the atmosphere and the warm welcoming staff!”

“Enjoy a brief trip to Italy with Italian country cooking and warm hospitality as you remember it. Come and experience the culture, cuisine and lively traditions at Pèpe's Little Napoli, Bistro Italiano. Rich Pèpe opened Little Napoli in 1990 and it has been considered the icon Italian restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula ever since. Antipasti, Pizza, Pasta and Risotto are prepared perfectly with the handed down Pèpe family signature recipes. Viva Little Napoli–Little Napoli is lively as a festa, packing more Italian charm into its cozy quarters than most big city restaurants. Chianti is served by the glass and olive oil is poured into saucers printed with sensible advise such as "non parlare, baciami" (don't talk, kiss me). All the talking and kissing stops quickly when the generous plates of food arrive at the table. “Thanks to its famous owner of 27 years, the Hog''s Breath Inn is Carmel''s most famous establishment. After Clint Eastwood and his partner retired the Inn, closing it in 1999, a new owner, Kaiser Morcus, recently reopened with few changes, and is riding the wave of the Eastwood legacy. The pub is still the best reason to visit the Hog''s Breath. This is what pubs were invented for: A place to relax after a hard day''s work, share a drink and some companionship, enjoy the comfort of a dice cup banging on wood, the tinkling of ice in a glass, and always, the laughter. The outdoor patio, nestled cozily between the restaurant, the bar and a massive mural, is another good reason to visit.”

“This is a restaurant and bar, big on sports. Fresh, well prepared food. Yummy breakfasts too. A locals favorite as well. They used to own Brophy's before the commercial business bought them out so they moved on and became Mulligans with all of the Brophy's favorites....and locals. ”

“In Carmel: the Little Swiss House for breakfast (long lines on weekend) and Flaherty's Seafood. In Pacific Grove: Vivolo's for clam chowder; Il Vecchio, Italian across the street; Peppers (Mexican); Passion Fish; the Beach House at Lover's Point; FishWife in Pebble Beach. All require reservations. Beach House at Lover's Point has a cheap prix fixe menu from 4:-5:30. You have to go in person for that. Otherwise, the Beach House & these others require a reservation. Make it the night before if possible. ”
