Museum
“A wonderful collection of paintings, flemish landscapes in particular but also a worthy sample of 19th and 20th century paintings. There is always something different to look at, they also have some excellent temporary exhibitions. I also particularly like the ceramics and Egyptian antiquities. Also a good cafe.”

Botanical Garden
“This heritage-listed Botanic Garden was originally conceived by Professor John Henslow, the mentor and teacher of Charles Darwin. The Garden's plant collections today number over 8,000 species from all over the world, displayed within the best collection of trees in the region. The 40 acres of beautifully-landscaped gardens and glasshouses offer year-round interest and seasonal inspiration. The excellent Cafe and Shop are also open year-round. An oasis in the City, this great Garden makes a great day out.”

“Jesus Green is a park in the north of central Cambridge, England, north of Jesus College. Jesus Ditch runs along the southern edge Jesus Green. On the northern edge of Jesus Green is the River Cam, with Chesterton Road on the opposite side. Sometimes they have events/festivals going on so worth a research on your dates of your visit so you don't miss any tasty food festivals, small concerts in the park or fun fairs while you're here.”

“Wonderful displays and amazing air shows. You can get there using train from Great Chesterford to Whittlesford Parkway then choice of 7a bus (timetables not frequent) or 45 minute walk or book a taxi from Whittlesford Station to IWM. Or use a taxi direct there. If you are happy to park at Duxford it is only 3 miles way but leave in good time on Airshow days as it gets busy. ”
