“The once famous Medieval palace, built from the 13th to the 16th century, has a varied history. The original castle was destroyed during the liberation of Buda from the Turks and then it was replaced with a smaller Baroque palace in the 18th century. Today, the Royal Palace is home to the Hungarian National Gallery, the Budapest History Museum and the National Library.”

“I am recommending this spot only because it is quite an important party scene in Budapest with plenty of bars, restaurants and night clubs. However it is also very touristy so am trying to avoid it most of the time myself. But you can have a beer here just to taste the atmosphere - and if you like it, go for it!”

“Hip place, stunning atmosphere with an urban garden and an open kitchen. In the summer they have concerts and open the back area up-can get very popping'! Can eat here for dinner earlier. The place is always full, so if you go there be lucky or make a reservation before.”
