“Excellent gallery of modern art raised on an artificial island from the river Danube. Great out door spaces to enjoy and a contemporary gallery with cafe. It is about 1h 20 minutes scenic drive from Komarno along the river Danube. Make sure to stop by the Gabcikovo dam about 55 minutes en route and we recommend restaurant Bodza also en route or on the way back for a hearty local Hungarian or Slovak meal.”

“The Old Town hall is a beautiful building both inside and out. Inside the Museum of City History occupies most of the space. Don´t forget to head down to the basement to see examples of Medieval torture instruments, then walk up to the top of the tower for a fabulous view of Bratislava Old Town´s main square. There is a unique set of mobile sun-dials from the 17th -18th centuries, various types of portable and wall clocks, alarm clocks and some examples of wrist watches. Most of the exhibits are signed by Bratislava master clockmakers.”
