Descubre los misterios del Boston victoriano
Explore a true crime murder mystery in quaint, post-Civil War Boston. In the late 1800s, Boston experienced a rash of gruesome murders and unexplained phenomena. People were accused of being witches and vampires, and of conversing with the dead, all while a serial murder lurked just out of sight. Looking for a time that isn't listed? Send me a message and maybe we can work something out. While we made pioneering strides in the new fields of forensics and toxicology, we hosted mad scientists and psychologists who treated the mentally ill in unsavory ways. The background for a number of historic movies and shows, the country’s largest Victorian neighborhood, the South End is all within a few blocks of Copley Square and Back Bay. Buried beneath this neighborhood's eye-catching English gardens and breathtaking brick rowhouses, the Gothic churches and strange statuary that tourist rarely see, is a unique experience you won’t want to miss. There will be some graphic discussion of violence and murder. Participant discretion is advised.
Ruta: la historia revolucionaria
A complete retelling of the American story from the founding of Boston to the Declaration of Independence. Unlike most tours which limit themselves exclusively to what's on the Freedom Trail - walking from one end to the other and providing short highlights and separate overviews of each stop - this tour pulls everything together into an immersive citywide narrative: recreating the drama and recapturing the energy that invented America. We visit 14 (of 16) iconic Freedom Trail landmarks in the same order in which the history unfolded, bringing to life the passions, personalities, and psychologies behind world changing events like The Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, Midnight Ride of Paul Revere, and Battle of Bunker Hill. We also explore all of Boson's original neighborhoods (including those not on the Freedom Trail) covering both the major sights and the hidden gems so you'll enjoy the charm of the old town while getting a real sense of the beautiful and booming modern city as well. No big crowds or silly costumes. The story incorporates insights from the most prestigious scholars in the field and is presented with light-hearted humor and enthusiasm; it will be equally educational as entertaining for history buffs and newcomers alike. Un recorrido por la historia de Boston
We will start our tour at the Lenox hotel in the heart of the Back Bay neighborhood, and will end at historic Faneuil Hall where there are endless places to eat and explore after the tour. Not only will we visit the famous Boston Freedom Trail, but also hidden treasures not covered on other tours. My tour runs approximately 2 1/2 hours. Unlike some other walking tours, I try to cover as much of Boston as possible. The walk is not fast paced, but we do cover about two miles. Wear comfortable shoes. The Back Bay - Explore one of Boston's most famous neighborhoods. Home to some of Boston's most beautiful buildings such as the Boston Public Library and the Trinity Church. Boston Public Garden - Visit the beautiful gardens, and say hello to the Swan Boats, and the Make Way for Ducklings statues! If you come during the right time of year, they may even be donning some accessories! Boston Common - Bask in the freedom of the oldest public park in the United States. Cheers Bar - Where everybody knows your name. Beacon Hill - View Boston's most historic neighborhood. Complete with original brick sidewalks and gas lanterns (you can thank some friendly 20th-century neighborhood rioters for those bricks). The New State House - Is as impressive as the political debates inside...we think.

Paseo por Boston: pizza, cerveza y Paul Revere
We start off in Bostons historic North End, other wise known as Little Italy, home to amazing history and unbelievable pizza!! We’ll make our way through cobblestone streets and back alleys, seeking out brick oven pizza and super locals only style bars, while checking out Paul Reveres old stomping grounds. I’ll show you the locals only version of our city, the awesome little nooks and crannies, small bakeries, hidden history, and fantastic views that most major tour companies can’t get into, because of their large group size. I know when I travel, I typically ask the concierge or Airbnb host where THEY go out for a beer and to get a bite. My whole reason for doing this tour is to share with you, the city that I love. The nuance and locals point of view. I hope you come grab a slice and drink a beer! Note: As we move into the winter season, this tour will continue to run every day at noon. One of our stops includes having a slice of pizza outside. While not a big deal in the summer, it can get pretty chilly, so all parties should make sure to dress warm!!

It also includes the otherworldly history of spiritualism, the city’s ties with the Parker Brother's Ouija Board , and we finish off near maritime wharf to demonstrate Salem's illustrious maritime history. Along the way, you will learn the truth behind witchcraft as a culture. Prepare to soak in some magical knowledge, ranging from connecting with nature, energy protection, manifesting with the moon and how we interact with the local spirits. This tour even includes locally sourced materials to craft real spells as we journey through Salem! (So please - do expect magical goodies for you to take home!) Our group/coven experience will be personable to create an absolutely spellbinding, one of a kind experience that will deeply connect you with the heart and soul of the city both past and present. Crea un mosaico en el estudio de una artista
In this experience you’ll make your own mosaic at the SoWa Mosaics studio in the heart of Boston’s Art + Design district! SoWa Mosaics is a bright and welcoming space featuring mosaics made with homemade tiles of all shapes and sizes. Each student chooses a square board or picture frame as their base. We will spend a few minutes talking about mosaics and our unique process then you’ll get started glueing tiles and creating your own unique mosaic selecting from an abundance of our handmade colorful tiles. During the workshop we’ll be walking around to help guide and encourage your work. For smaller groups we like to sit down and create one with you too! At the end of the workshop, your mosaic will be glued and safe to take home but needs a day to get sturdy and dry completely before you can grout it. Each student goes home with a goodie bag containing grout, gloves and instructions on how to put the finishing touches on the artwork. After or before the workshop we encourage you to walk around and visit the 100+ other artists, galleries and shops here. Sundays are the most active with several other studios open and a vintage market in the basement. On Sundays in May thru October we have food trucks and outdoor markets too! Other things to note No art experience necessary. Intended for adults but appropriate for kids 10+. All ages welcome for birthday parties or private family activities. I can host 20ish people. Want a different day/time? Message me! I’m happy to adjust times and/or plan private events. Excited to create with you!
