“The Kempinski has one of the best spas in Bansko. In additional to massages, they have an indoor and out door pool, ice room, outdoor jacuzzi, several saunas and more. In addition to booking spa services, you will be asked to come by in advance to make a deposit. But it is worth it.”

Monastery
“The Rozhen Monastery is a quick drive away from Melnik and is a must-see. Once you enter the monastery yard, take a look at the vine which spreads its leaves across the whole yard (it is only and is several hundred years old). After you exit the monastery, you can explore the Eco Path which leads to a stunning view towards the famous Melnik Sand Pyramids.”

“Happy End is a popular Apres ski venue across from the gondola. Enjoy a drink on the outdoor terrace after skiing or come back after dinner to hear live music and party until early in the morning. It is recommended to stick to wine and beer here as the cocktails are pricey and never as nice as they look on the menu!”

“Accessible by car only before 0900 and after 1600. If not you have to park about a mile further down the mountain. You can cycle up to it all day though and I recommend trying it. Stunning views. ”

Parque
“Among the most remarkable, romantic and mysterious places of Velingrad is the Kleptuza spring. The park with its two lakes is one of the symbols of the town. It is located in the Chepino district, one of the three thermal zones in Velingrad. Much of the spring water is used for drinking; the other part fills two beautiful lakes, which then flow into the Chepinska River, and from it into the Maritsa and the Aegean Sea.”
