The Bull Ring Birmingham is a major commercial area of central Birmingham. It has been an important feature of Birmingham since the Middle Ages, when its market was first held. Selfridges at the Bullring is covered with a dramatic "skin" made up of 15,000 spun aluminium disks. The Bronze Bull situated in the square at the base of Rotunda is two and a half life-sized and weighs 5 Tonnes. Over 8,000 jobs were created within the new Bullring. There are over 140 shops and kiosks within Bullring.”
