“Not only is this temple incredibly beautiful, it’s also a very fun ferry ride away from the center. It was under construction for a while, but it is now open for visitors. Wat Arun is a 17th century temple built along the Chao Phraya River. You can view the temple during your ferry ride and it’s best to go during sunset time to get some amazing photos. The beautifully decorated temple has one large tower and is surrounded by four smaller ones. You can climb the stairs and walk around all the towers to enjoy great views of the river.”

“Siam Paragon is an immensely popular shopping mall housing a host of international high-end fashion brands, Southeast Asia’s largest aquarium, a 16-screen Cineplex, and a comprehensive selection of world cuisine. Located prominently in front of Siam BTS Skytrain station - the interchange of the two BTS lines - it is considered by many to be the centre of Bangkok.”

“Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is situated on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location, but also because the design is very different to the other temples you can visit in Bangkok. Wat Arun (or temple of the dawn) is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water. Wat Arun is almost directly opposite Wat Pho, so it is very easy to get to. Entry to the temple is 100 baht. The temple is open daily from 08:30 to 17:30.”

“Central Embassy Bangkok is an ultra-luxury lifestyle mall, boasting an impressive collection of high-end designer stores, fine-dining restaurants, swanky cinema screens, and the extravagant Park Hyatt Bangkok hotel. Built on the grounds of the former British Embassy – hence the name – this 18 billion baht mega-mall projects the capital’s status even further as one of the world’s leading shopping destinations. Located in the heart of Bangkok's retail district near Siam, this huge shopping centre stands out from the rest of the gauntlet of megamalls with its futuristic design as well as impressive, minimalist white interior, allowing all the big-name stores really stand out. Central Embassy Bangkok can be directly accessed from either Ploenchit or Chid Lom BTS Skytrain stations. ”

“You may know the Ratchada Train Night Market at the Cultural Center of Thailand, but the ROD FAI Train Night Market is more large than it.It has all the goods of the Ratchada Train Night Market, but there are not any of Chinese tour groups, no messy environment, only locals and Europeans. One night you can't travel all over the night market, the area is very large. The only thing you need to pay attention to is that business hours are from Thursday to Sunday night.你可能知道泰国文化中心站的新火车夜市,但是ROD FAI老火车夜市比前者大了好几倍,不但有前者所有的商品,而且没有大量中国旅游团,没有乱糟糟的环境,基本上都是本地人和欧美人在逛,一个晚上是逛不完整个夜市,唯一需要注意的是营业时间是周四到周日的晚上。 Taxi:O2-12km 30minutes 150-200baht”

“At first sight, Soi Cowboy looks like a fantasy land of bright pink neon, but here fantasies become real for all those searching for the dark side of Bangkok’s nightlife culture; namely, go-go bars. This red-light district has a more laid-back, carnival-like feel to it than other famous go-go districts such as Patpong or Nana Plaza. There are more than 20 bars lined one next to the other each following the same formula of a central stage, loud music and scantily clad dancers. bars here are open from 20:00 to 02:00.
