“This is definitely a day trip worth planning. Anna Maria Island is a barrier island on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The quaint feel of Anna Maria Island makes it the perfect place to eat grouper sandwiches and kayak with dolphins. In the small resort city of Anna Maria, Pine Avenue is lined with shops, galleries and eateries. Brunch at Gulf Drive Cafe on Bradenton Beach is a great start to the day. Hang out at Coquina Beach (bathrooms, changing stalls, concessions). Drive back via Sarasota and stop over at St. Armands Square for shopping, sweet treats, coffee, eateries. Check out the event calendar for local art fairs, market and festivals. Lisa Beach is close to St. Armands Square and a local favorite (often times ticked away from tourist). It is a nice beach to hang out too.”

“This restaurant is now our favorite weekend lunch place. Get a table outside and you can see the Gulf and beach enthusiasts. Their new menu is great and the service is also better than before. It's also walking distance (15min).”

“This little place is on the beach in Holmes Beach. This is a high end fancy place with high end prices. If you're looking for a special occasion place or if high end eating is normally your style then I highly recommend this place. Emeril filmed a show here in 2018 and it has several awards. We love the food, service and the view!”
